In the spirit of the season and her usual fit of madness, Pam decides to transform the Marone mansion for the holidays. Nick avoids the mistletoe and has to deal with Donna as she hurls accusations in his face about ripping off her family’s company. He tries to explain things in a way that won’t make him look guilty. That doesn’t pan out so well. Lucky for him, Katie convinces her sister to give the captain a break. Sonny and Kate wandered around their old neighborhood and finally kissed. They went skating and he asked her to spend the holidays with him. Back in Port Charles, Dante and Delores questioned his mom about Lisa but she insisted on her innocence. They called Anthony in to interrogate him until they received a mysterious text confession. The cops returned to the boat and found another corpse – Briggs, the first officer of the ship, who conveniently had a suicide note/confession on her. Mac decided that was good enough to close the case. Delores and Dante thought he was jumping the gun. Anthony tipped Maxie off that he’d paid back her favor but she owed him now. Hope and Stephanie blamed the stealing of the designs on Beverly, who ran off. Pam anxiously listened as Ridge and Eric planned to hire a PI. She started to panic and feel guilty. Stephanie plodded over to confront Jackie, who admitted she had no clue who Beverly was. Stephanie returned to Forrester and she and Hope decided to track down the intern to apologize. They found her at the transitional house for foster children she lived in. Stephanie kept putting her foot in her mouth but Beverly eventually softened to her once she opened up about being abused as a child. Patty hung up on Jack, who’d called ‘Myrna’ for gift suggestions for Genevieve, then went to church and admitted to God she’d been having bad thoughts about Genevieve. She hid when Jack and Kyle appeared to light a candle for Diane. Later, Patty watched as Jack proposed to Genevieve.
