Could General Hospital Be Headed To Primetime?
Now that “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” are gone and Katie Couric’s talk show is gearing up to hit Daytime in the fall, worries about the fate of ABC’s last soap are high. TV Guide Magazine is now reporting that one of the ideas the network is floating to keep “General Hospital” alive would be to put it on Primetime. The series would run as a short summer series, like a telenovela.
