The Young And The Restless Spoilers January 31 – February 2.

Darkness and hostages…

As Genoa City residents affected by Patty’s actions try to move forward, in the ambulance, Adam admits that he can’t see anything. He’s bandaged up at the hospital, but a doctor warns Sharon that there’s no guarantee that Adam will regain his sight. Sharon insists to Victor that his son needs him and begs him to talk to Adam. Victor refuses but privately asks Michael to have an eye specialist flown in.

As if Patty didn’t do enough damage, she takes Abby hostage at the church and warns everyone not to follow them. Once she gets far enough away, Patty lets Abby go, and she’s reunited with her family. Jack’s condition takes a turn for the worse, as does his emotional state when Genevieve makes an admission to him in the hospital.

Everyone frantically continues to search for Patty, but only one person finds her. After having a chat with his uncle, Father Todd Williams, Ricky finds Patty in a storage area in the church and promises to protect her. Patty doesn’t appreciate Ricky bringing up Jack and warns, “You’re making me mad.”

Wait, there’s more… Cane tells Genevieve he cannot be her son any longer. One alliance is revealed, and two residents make a decision regarding their relationship.
