The Young And The Restless Weekly Summary For January 30 – February 3.

Paul was stunned, Adam was blinded, and someone was shot…

Paul and Ronan cut a deal with Deacon, who led them to the truth that Myrna was Patty. Adam found Patty with a gun, planning to kill Genevieve. After he grabbed the gun, Patty threw chemicals in Adam’s face. Sharon found him, unable to see. Tucker ran into Emily, who realized he’d seen Patty earlier – not her.

Cane refused to support Genevieve for lying to Jack then proposed to Lily, who said yes. Patty witnessed Genevieve writing Jack a goodbye letter, which she sent to the church by messenger. While Genevieve realized her wedding dress was missing, Nikki congratulated Jack on Genevieve obtaining Beauty of Nature. Confused, Jack went to the church. Patty intercepted Genevieve’s letter and joined Jack at the altar in Genevieve’s dress. When he lifted her veil, Jack thought she was Emily, but Patty announced herself and shot him! Patty took Abby long enough to escape then let her go.

Ricky overheard Emily comment on Patty’s connection to God and paid his uncle, Father Todd, a visit. Though Todd warned him to steer clear of Patty, Ricky found her hiding and vowed to protect her. Patty admitted Adam helped her escape the institution. When Ronan and Paul arrived, Ricky claimed he’d just found Patty after hearing an alert over the police scanner. Since no alert had been sent, Paul questioned Ricky’s lie and pushed him away. Patty admitted to making the pillows and was arrested. The charges were dropped against everyone involved in Diane’s murder, except Nikki, and Phyllis refused Ricky’s scoop for a story.

After Genevieve heard that Patty was Myrna, who shot Jack, his family threw her out of the hospital. Victor offered her protection from the Abbotts in order to get Beauty of Nature back at Newman. Jack made it through spinal surgery and was warned he may never walk again. Genevieve faced Jack, who refused to forgive her, then ultimately turned down Victor’s offer. Genevieve also assured Patty she still cared about her.

Victor refused to be there for Adam but secretly had an eye specialist flown in. Adam insisted he didn’t bring Patty back to town and had asked her to leave. Sharon called him heroic, but Adam thought, after everything he’d done, he deserved what happened. After Adam was told he may never see again, Victor asked Sharon to take Adam to Hope’s farm. Adam refused.
