Sami makes it so easy for men to fall in love with her that there are any number of them just waiting in the wings for their chance for romance with her. Sami’s problem is keeping those men, and that is exactly what happened when she let her tryst with EJ bring about the end of her marriage to Rafe. And despite her long history with Lucas and undeniable heat with EJ, it was her loving relationship with Rafe that gets Safe fans up in arms for their favorite Daytime couple. Because of that, we decided to write our own fictional ending for Sami and Rafe.
It seemed like the odds were always stacked against them. From the moment they met, there was always something – or someone – trying to keep them apart. But not anymore. Rafe wasn’t going to let anything get in the way of his happiness with Sami. He stood outside her door and took a deep breath before knocking.

Brooke tells Stephanie all about the latest problems with Hope. Stephanie is not entirely sympathetic and Brooke turns to Dr. Barton to discuss the situation. The doctor worries when Brooke tells her all about the pills that Hope has continued to pop. When Brooke leaves her office, she runs into Taylor and they nearly get into a brawl about their daughters. Stephanie tries to break it up. As Carly admitted to Luke that she had feelings for Johnny, Kate showed up at Johnny’s after trashing Sonny’s cake. She called the mob boss over so he could catch her with his rival. That worked. Sonny was furious. Johnny taunted him and Carly arrived as Sonny stormed off. Johnny tried to explain. Carly was even more shocked that he kept calling Kate ‘Connie’. After Johnny yelled at Connie, Kate returned and freaked out. He started having regrets too. Carly ran over to Sonny’s and tried pulling him into bed. He stopped her, insisting that he loved Kate. Steffy gloated to her mother that she kissed Liam and he would be hers again soon. Meanwhile, Liam told his dad about the kiss but claimed it was nothing. Taylor popped in to remind him who he is married to and then started plotting with Bill. He called Oliver and Ramona in Aspen, asking them to make things uncomfortable for Hope when she arrived. Justin didn’t think this was a swell idea. Oliver and Ramona had doubts too but went along with the plan to send the paparazzi after Hope. Justin repeated that this was a bad idea. Jack accused Nikki of still loving Victor, but she convinced him to give them a shot. SEC agents questioned Jack about Genevieve. Though Jack didn’t know where Genevieve got the money to purchase Beauty of Nature, she used inside information to obtain it. Victor told Nick he couldn’t help Daniel get Lucy, due to the SEC monitoring him. Genevieve enlisted Tucker to say he loaned her the money for Beauty of Nature to take suspicion off Victor. He refused then told Ashley his ruse with Sofia had been a setup. Ashley fumed! SEC agents informed Victor that any further transactions were suspended until they investigated where Genevieve got the funds for Beauty of Nature. The agents approached Genevieve next.
