Ex-General Hospital’s Ronnie Marmo’s Message To The Fans.

“I am humbled.”

Ronnie Marmo came on the Port Charles scene in 2009 as cop and Falconeri family friend Ronnie Dimestico. Most of the fictional Ronnie’s time on the canvas was taken up by his preoccupation with bringing down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) by any means necessary, but we also learned along the way that he had a past with psycho artist Franco (James Franco) as well. Unfortunately, for the shady cop, his time was cut short after he was revealed to be the stripper stalker. John McBain (Michael Easton) shot and killed him on May 7, 2012 after Dimestico took Lulu (Julie Marie Berman) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) hostage.

Soap Opera Fan recently caught up with Ronnie Marmo to get his thoughts on playing the role of Ronnie Dimestico over the years. Marmo replied, “Now that I have left the show I just want to say thank you very, very much to the fans! For a peripheral recurring character I got way more attention and support than I ever expected or deserved! I am a very blessed man and I am humbled!”

Though he won’t be around to accuse Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) of giving his father Sonny special treatment anymore, Marmo let us know he has been busy with other projects. While we wait to see where he turns up next, watch him in the web series Adults Only, also starring Brianna Brown (ex-Lisa).
