“Days Of Our Lives” took home the award last Saturday night for Outstanding Daily Drama. Soap Opera Fan Blog sends our best to the cast and crew!

The nominees for the 23rd Annual GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) Media Awards have been released. The awards recognize shows in the mainstream media for their accurate, fair and inclusive representation of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

ABC’s now defunct “All My Children” and NBC’s “Days Of Our Lives” received nods in the category of Outstanding Daily Drama.

Soap Opera Fan Blog sends both shows good luck and will update you when the winner is announced.

This year’s ceremonies will take place at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York City, New York on March 24; the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites in Los Angeles on April 21 and in San Francisco, California at the Marriott Marquis on June 2.

    Good Job Days! I think that the way Days has chose to write Will’s and Sunny’s characters deserves to be rewarded. Now Chandler needs to bring home the emmy :-)
