For all to see.
Although people keep meaning to erase it for good, the video of Liam and Steffy on his wedding day to Hope keeps popping up. Could it only be a matter of time until it falls into the hands of someone who is less sympathetic to the plights and blights of those involved? Could this lead to the next scandal at Forrester? “The Bold And The Beautiful” star Ronn Moss (Ridge) was in a multi-vehicle crash on Friday in Los Angeles with his wife, Devin Devasquez. Both of them are currently recovering from injuries. On Facebook, Devasquez updated their fans and friends:
“Ronn and I were in a horrible car accident yesterday that involved 8 cars and totaled our brand new truck. An old guy came out of nowhere and hit two cars before hitting us that caused us to spin a 360 and hit several other cars including a lamp post that fell on top of the truck. It was quite a scene and poor Ronn had a bad bump on his head that was bleeding along with a shoulder injury. I’m pretty sore and bruised. We spent the night in the ER getting x-rays and have soft tissue injuries with soreness and pain. But we are so blessed to be alive and grateful no one else was hurt. Shows you how precious life is and how quickly something like this can change it.” Read the rest of this entry »
Behind the scenes while off the air.
NBC is trying to keep viewers in the loop while “Days” is on hiatus during the Olympics. For each of the ten days the show is off the air, a star from the series will be appearing in a special half hour interview starting at 2:00 PM. First in line will be Lisa Rinna (Billie).
The best of the blogs.
As “DOOL” hurtled to a powerful cliffhanger before its two-week hiatus for the Olympics, the other shows worked just as hard to keep up that same pace, with storylines exploding all over the place.
With the news last week that writer Maria Arena Bell is out and Jill Farren Phelps and Josh Griffith are returning, storylines are sure to be shaken up. Meanwhile, the characters are coming with all kinds of spicy drama, with half the town involved in some kind of crime. And those who aren’t are acting just as sneaky, if not more so. Candace says, “From her sorta’ smug reaction to Ashley’s advice on Monday, to her snarky confrontations with Nikki and Chelsea on Friday, off-kilter Sharon is definitely getting viewers’ attention. She makes me grin… The best was when she pulled out the lipstick she stole from Chelsea in Victor’s office and slicked it on with that self-satisfied smile. The only thing missing is her going a round with Phyllis – hopefully that’s coming. In the meantime, I can’t wait to see what she’s going to do or say next…” Read more at Young And The Restless Weekly Blog.
Our sister site, Soaps.com, had the chance to have a chat with “DOOL’s” Arianne Zucker (Nicole) about her character’s self-destructive tendencies, the men in her life and her chances at happiness.
Here’s a sampling:
“I thought, ‘God, if I had a boyfriend or a couple of boyfriends that I was doing that to, I would smack them all and be like ‘Are you crazy’?” Read the rest of this entry »
Tammin Sursok, who played “The Young And The Restless’ Colleen Carlton from 2007 to 2009, is working behind the scenes these days. The actress and her husband Sean McEwan (writer/director) started their own production company, Charlie Baby Productions.
Their first film, “Graceland,” did well at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival in New York, and now they’re in pre-production on a film Sursok wrote titled “Whaling.” Since leaving Daytime she’s appeared in such series as “Hannah Montana” and Pretty Little Liars.
“Good writing and actors…”
In case you missed “The Young And The Restless’” Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) on CBS’ “The Talk” last Friday, watch the video right here on Soap Opera Fan Blog and find out why he thinks the show has been so successful.
When Hope lashes out at Liam over his raunchy pre-wedding romp with Steffy, he pulls out all of the excuses he can to try and make her understand. His apologies aren’t well received this time. They appear to have finally lost their magical impact and Hope leaves him sobbing. She runs off to cry to herself about how her life has turned to muck. Read the rest of this entry »
Now that Todd has taken control of Crimson and doesn’t seem to be concerned with keeping it afloat, Maxie is out of a job. As Mac reminded her last week, she can’t keep an eye on Patrick forever, so what should she do next? Vote in our poll and comment below.

After Todd came down from his fury over Blair’s engagement to Tomas, he watched the footage of Connie and Johnny discussing who really killed Cole and Hope. When Todd heard it was Johnny, he beelined it over to the new club owner’s office to confront him. Todd threatened to tell Carly her boyfriend was the guilty party, but stopped in his tracks when Johnny retorted that he knew Todd stole Sam’s baby.
