Previously Reported on August 22:

Daytime Emmy Award winner, Christel Khalil, is leaving her role as Lily Winters Ashby on “The Young and the Restless” according to a report on her official website. The site administrator stated: “Christel Khalil is indeed leaving ‘The Young and the Restless’. It is not her decision to leave. An agreement could not be reached during contract negotiations. I have confirmed this information with the source.”

No final airdate for Khalil was provided. The site administrator feels that the recent casting call issued by “Y&R” may be for a Lily recast.

Hoepfully they won’t allow Christel to leave and try to work something out. Personally the only reason I watch is Lily and Cane. If that is no longer the case and Christel goes, I won’t be watching anymore.

Wow, Y&R. Get your crap together and PAY what all your actors are asking for. How many cast members in the last couple of years have been “axed” due to contact negotiations? Too many!! Considering there is a pattern here, it can’t be the actors that are being unreasonable.
