General Hospital’s Kelly Monaco’s DWTS Cha-Cha-Cha.

Week one.

Updated September 25:

Kelly Monaco survived week one of “Dancing with the Stars,” as she received enough votes to move on in the All Star season. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for Pamela Anderson, who was sent home.

Originally posted September 24:

With her TV mama Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) and sister Lindsey Morgan (Kristina) cheering her on from the audience, “Dancing with the Stars” season one winner Kelly Monaco (Sam) performed the Cha-Cha-Cha with partner Val Chmerkovskiy. It was noted that her season was just six weeks long, as opposed to the much longer seasons that followed, and that she wasn’t required to learn that dance before.

Not to fret, as the judges loved her. Bruno gushed and Carrie Ann told her she got sexier over the years, adding that she and Val had insane chemistry. Len noted she wasn’t this good in season one, but advised her to lower her shoulders and relax.

Carrie Ann and Len gave her 7s, while Bruno gave her a 7.5. The half point is new this year. Read the full Dancing with the Stars recap on Soap Opera Fan’s sister site Reality TV Magazine.
