Fans of “DOOL” star Camila Banus (Gabi) can now catch her in a new role. She has a starring role in the independent film, “Counterpunch.” The movie follows a young boxer dreaming of success and forced to deal with bi-polar disorder and a dysfunctional family. Rafe breaks Sami’s heart by telling her they can’t be together. He can’t tell her that this is breaking his heart too, but EJ is blackmailing him and he has no choice. After Elvis gets confirmation from Rafe that he will stay away from Samanther, he swans in to comfort her. EJ’s plan doesn’t go too smoothly though. His brother soon finds him. Chad is in a fit about Melanie. He’s so wrought up he nearly exposes EJ’s latest blackmail scheme. Elvis tries calming his brother down. That doesn’t work. Chad plods away and plows at Gabi. He threatens to call the cops on her. Nick shows up and threatens to report the fact that Chad pounded on him. USA Today is reporting that Bonnie Franklin, who has been guest starring as Sister Celeste on “The Young And The Restless,” has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The 68 year old actress, best remembered for her role as Ann Romano on “One Day At A Time,” is allegedly undergoing treatment and continuing with her normal schedule.
