Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Hunter Haley King is allegedly already in the studios taping scenes as the new Summer Newman. The actress has held roles as Adriana Masters in “Hollywood Heights,” as Bridget in “Hannah Montana,” and as a young Debra on “Dexter,” to name a few.
No word yet on when we’ll be seeing King in the role.
Max Ehrich, who plays Fen, tweeted:

they are aging summer too fast. nick does not look old enough to have a daughter that looks this old. the summer thats leaving whats up with that. she too was too old in my opinion but hunter is definetly too grown up to be nicks daughter
