ABC’s “General Hospital” joins Disney and the American Red Cross for a “Day Of Giving” on Monday November 5 to raise money for hurricane relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. “GH” stars’ pre-recorded PSAs will air during the show Monday.

Viewers can participate throughout the day by texting ABC to 90999 which automatically gives a $10 donation to the Red Cross. To make a donation in another amount visit The Red Cross or call 1-800-HELP-NOW.

So far nearly $5 million has been raised this morning.
