General Hospital Alum Billy Dee Williams To Modern Family.

Playing himself.

He’s probably best known for his roles as Gale Sayers in “Brian’s Song,” Louis McKay in “Lady Sings the Blues” and Lando Calrissian in the “Star Wars” movies, but soap fans will recall that in 2008, Billy Dee Williams joined “General Hospital: Night Shift” as Toussaint DuBois and crossed over to “General Hospital” in 2009. Now, Williams is lightening things up a bit by guest starring on the NBC comedy “Modern Family.”

Per Entertainment Weekly, the iconic actor will appear as himself during the episode titled “New Year’s Eve.” He will encounter Ed O’Neill’s character Jay at a card game during a trip to Palm Springs.
