Originally posted August 2:

Julie Marie Berman (Lulu) is starring in the indie film “Orchard House.” Per Soaps in Depth, the movie is an updated version of “Little Women,” which revolves around four sisters in the 1800s.

Berman will play Jo, in the film set in 2012. Filming has started in Grafton, MA, with former “All My Children” star Justin Bruening (ex-Jamie) playing Teddy, a man in love with Jo.

If you’ll recall, Louisa May Alcott’s Jo was the second oldest of the sisters. She was an opinionated tomboy, who loved reading and writing and pursued a literary career in New York City.
