GH’s Kelly Monaco’s DWTS All Star Season Finale Results.
Updated November 27:
For the instant dance, the couples had to prepare three different routines, one of which they would perform for the finale. After blindly picking one of the dances, as well as the music, they had an hour to rehearse. Kelly & Val drew the jive set to “Cat & Mouse.” Len called Kelly a revelation for the whole season. As for the jive, she nailed the footwork. Bruno said they had the energy of two randy rabbits. The jive is difficult and sometimes Kelly lost some bounce, but the effect was magnificent. Carrie Ann was impressed with how in synch they were for an instant dance. They received three 9.5s from the judges.
After the scores were tallied with the previous night’s, Kelly & Val were the first couple eliminated. Melissa & Tony were named the winners of the All Star season, giving Tony his first mirror ball after 14 seasons.

Finals week showcased two dances for each pair. First up, was a dance they performed earlier in the season. Next, the duos danced a super sized freestyle, which could include extra performers in their routines. Marveling over landing in the finals without receiving a single 10 all the season, Kelly & Val were hoping to finally get a perfect score.
Kelly & Val decided to repeat their Paso Doble because Val thought it was a turning point for Kelly. Len told Kelly it was her best dance to date. Bruno thought she burned the floor and ignited drama, but she also added artistry and polish. Carrie Ann was so proud of Kelly because she struggled the hardest to get to the finale. There was a slip up, but it was her best dance. The duo received a 9.5 from Carrie Ann and long awaited 10s from Bruno and Len.
Their freestyle, set to “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life,” included aerial work by Kelly, Val serenading Kelly with a violin, gospel singers and several troupe dancers joining them on the dance floor. Of course, it ended with the “Dirty Dancing” lift at the end. Len thought the dance was spellbinding, but the performance lacked originality. Bruno thought their chemistry has never been brighter and that they were totally in cue. Patrick Swayze was smiling down on them. Carrie Ann said it was the perfect dance for their real, or not, relationship, which gave them a happy ending to a perfect love story. They received 10s from Carrie Ann and Bruno and a 9.5 from Len.
Though host Brooke asked if their relationship was real or a “showmance,” Kelly & Val remained mum. After all, Kelly pointed out there is still another day of interviews to get through.
Tomorrow’s results show will include an instant dance before a winner is named. In the meantime, what did you think of Kelly & Val’s finale dances? Read the full Dancing with the Stars recap at Reality TV Magazine and then come back and share your thoughts below.
