Genoa City residents ring in the new year in many different ways. Watch this spoiler video for what’s coming up in Genoa City this week on Soap Opera Fan Blog!
Stephen Nichols (Steve “Patch” Johnson) left “DOOL” a few years ago and joined the cast of “The Young And The Restless” as Tucker McCall. Now that he might be leaving Genoa City, could it be the right time for his character to make his way back to Salem? Bo is out of town, Stephanie is gone and Kayla is inching closer to Abe. With little Joey in town, he has at least one reason to pay a visit. Do you want to see him back on the canvas? Read the rest of this entry »
“B&B” has always had a relatively small cast of characters. It often seems like it keeps getting smaller. Although past characters come and go for the holidays, few newbies come in or do much other than fill space. Is the show in dire need of some fresh blood who will break the mold of the usual Forrester, Spencer and Logan stereotypes? Read the rest of this entry »
Even though it was a short week for a few soaps, the week seemed balanced out with holiday cheer and merry mischief. Stephanie (Susan Flannery) seemed to appear on “B&B” to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, The Horton’s hung their family ornaments on the tree on “DOOL,” both the Quartermaine and Corinthos parties were crashed on “GH,” and on “Y&R” we think they celebrated Christmas.
B&B Breakdown:It is uncertain when we will be able to report that the love triangle is over, but if you were away for the holiday, be assured the status quo remains. Candace says it’s a “bummer to see the dreaded triangle storyline revisited.” We couldn’t agree more. Her take on the Rick and Caroline saga is spot on and quite possibly that could be more annoying than the triangle at this point. The heartfelt Christmas moments this week were worth tuning in for though as Eric attended the Celtic Woman performance and was joined later by family. Less heartfelt was what was on Bill’s mind. A first time, dates made for New Year’s and Nurses’ Ball plans.
For Christmas, Carly signed Michael’s ELQ shares over to him. As they talked, Starr overheard them discuss Michael’s prison stay. Once alone, Michael explained to Starr that he was raped in prison, but Abby helped him get through it. Starr thanked him for sharing his painful past with her and they slept together for the first time. Afterwards, they decided to stay home instead of having to decide which of Michael’s fathers they would spend the holiday with.
Lucy showed up at the Qs, where Monica informed AJ and Tracy that Alan’s ex-wife held one percent of ELQ stock. The two fawned over Lucy, which she clearly relished. Lucy later showed up at the hospital to inform Sabrina, Patrick and Britt that ELQ would be funding the Nurses’ Ball. Read the rest of this entry »
