Gone but not forgotten was the motto last week, as Stephanie made a visit from beyond the grave on “B&B,” Bo may or may not be back in Salem on “DOOL,” Faison was finally revealed on “GH,” bringing everyone closer to Robin and the real Duke. And on “Y&R,” we couldn’t help but long for the bad boy days of Billy.
Stephanie may have left the canvas, but she was sure not going to let her death be the end of her. “While Stephanie’s announcement from beyond the grave was a cool twist, and a relief given how arrogant Thomas was behaving, it created a lot of questions,” Candace said. “Why doesn’t Eric just run the company himself? If this is supposed to bring the whole family together, why does the competition divide them into rival units? Why not force the ones who can’t get along to work together? What happens to Ridge when he returns? Why isn’t Thorne the next in line to the throne, or at least a part of the competition? Super-frustrating stuff if you’re a fan of logic.” Meanwhile. Taylor spilled everything to Katie about “the kiss.” Read more about that in the Bold and the Beautiful Weekly Blog.
So where were all of the vets hiding in Salem? It was certainly not in front burner storylines. “The audience is still complaining about the lack of vet use,” Christine said. “Most viewers have voiced that they still loathe Gabi for hiring Andrew to fake stalk her and kidnap Melanie and others find Nick creepy and yet the two are front burner. There are so few vets left and they’re not getting what the fans call quality airtime if any at all. Bo is gone so Hope has little to do and oddly, Bo ‘returned’ from California with Caroline and picked up Ciara from school but he hasn’t been mentioned again.” Read more about Daniel’s hand “tremors” in the Days of Our Lives Weekly Blog.
Connie certainly found other ways to entertain herself in Port Charles since Johnny is less than interested in doing it. “While it is totally in Todd’s character to ignore Molly and TJ’s plea for help in the pursuit of more money, it is totally out of character for him to disregard Starr in this whole thing,” Hollie said of Connie snatching the book. “She is the one who brought him the manuscript, she has actually read 50 or so pages so she could recognize a plagiarized copy and will be on a rampage once she realizes what is going on. Add to the fact that Johnny is ready to spill his guts about everything – which Todd knew all about – and Starr is about to have some serious daddy issues of her own. She does seem to handle Todd’s craziness well, and Michael should really take note.” Read more about last week’s Port Charles happenings in the General Hospital Weekly Blog.
Kristen and Brady were not backing down on getting busy for one minute. “Meanwhile, Brady and Kristen continued to bone incessantly,” Matt said. “He’s had a lot more bottled up than just grief. He began shaving his face again to demonstrate how innocent and trusting he has become. What shaving the rest of his body means is anyone’s guess. He decided to show her how much he cared with jewelry. To prove that he has his head up his ass with love, he accidentally left it out in the open at the Kiriakis compound. Although John’s company is in the middle of collapsing thanks to labor problems, he still found time to act as a courier and deliver it to Kristen himself. John remained clueless. Marlena had somehow magically managed to keep her trap shut.” Read more of Matt’s take on last week’s show in Matt’s Musings.
Candace was ready for the writers to give Billy back his backbone. “While I enjoyed Billy and Victoria’s romantic reconnection this week (there are times when they ‘click’ for me), I’m tired of watching Billy operate in his current mode,” Candace said. “He’s grown past behaving like a loser, and no one wants to see him go back there, but it sometimes feels like he’s been biting his tongue and kissing butt since Victoria first saw him in his boxers on that fateful New Year’s Eve. I’d like to see a return to the bolder Billy Abbott rather than this sort of watered-down ‘Billy Newman’ guy he’s evolved into. It’s not necessarily a comment on his relationship, but on the character – give him back his cojones!” Read about more drama in The Young and the Restless Weekly Blog.
