Last week people were either coming clean, or trying to prevent others from doing just that. Rick finally confessed to Hope about his role in her breakup with Liam on “B&B,” while on “GH” Todd was doing everything in his power to keep Johnny from spilling the beans. Adam got very real on “Y&R” as well, but one person not being honest is Sami on “DOOL,” who seemed to think she will be able to bury the hatchet with the DiMeras. Good luck with that.
It’s official. The tangled web that was Steffy, Liam and Hope was back. Thanks Rick! “Well, Liam came home early to surprise a very happy Steffy and they enjoyed a carefree and passionate reunion,” Candace said. “This could only be the precursor to the return of the dreaded triangle. Hope called and obviously very confident that Liam would dump Steffy instantly and take her back, ran into his arms and kissed him.” Meanwhile. Taylor really needed to watch how much she revealed about her patients. Read more in the Bold and the Beautiful Weekly Blog.
For her last blog of the year, Chrissi asked Santa Corday for a few choice Salem-inspired gifts in her stocking. “My Christmas wish is to see less repetition in the storylines. Please, no love triangles and baby storylines. They didn’t fit this year, the year before that, and I doubt they’ll fit again in the coming year. Instead, I’d like to see great writing, a reunion between Kate and Stefano, the return of Tony DiMera, and PhillyK. I’m thankful for the many drinking games over the course of the year at the expense of the words ‘Smith Island’, ‘tremors’, and the phrase, ‘who are you and what did you do with’ and when someone would stare at Daniel’s hands. If it’s not too much trouble, could you please bring Brian back?” Leave your own note for Santa below or in the Days of Our Lives Weekly Blog comments.
Todd managed to steal whatever scene he was in last week. “I realize not everyone is a fan of Roger Howarth as Todd, but as someone who watched ‘OLTL’ back when he was the original Todd, his evolution as snotty frat boy to snotty media mogul has been awesome,” Hollie said. “His hairball heart attack routine with Connie and Starr was truly funny, but his calls to Carly and Starr to suss out whether they had spoken to Johnny were even more so in their subtlety. Now if we can only get him somewhere in the romance department.” Read more about last week’s Port Charles happenings in the General Hospital Weekly Blog.
Thank goodness there were so many holy men in Salem last week. “Christmas is on the way, even in Salem, a town where people are so naughty that they need three priests to keep up with the backlog of confessions,” Matt said. “There was so much tinsel on the Horton Square tree that the gleam was bright enough for Daniel to tan under it. Now that he had his hands back in working order, he was running around like a horny teenage boy. His jolliness was so potentially worrisome that they called in the marines to watch the town square. They soon turned it into a Christmas dumping ground and EJ managed to scoop up all the gifts that random business associates had sent in for his children.” Read more of Matt’s take on last week’s show in Matt’s Musings.
Well, Adam and Chelsea seemed to be officially done. “Adam gets major points for being ‘real’ with everybody this week – it’s satisfying to watch,” Candace said. “I can respect Chelsea wanting to turn down his offer of a financial settlement, but there’s proud and then there’s stupid. As for Adam and Sharon, despite everything they’re just magnetically drawn toward each other. It’s always intense. It probably won’t go anywhere though since Nick is in the picture doing his anti-Adam routine. On another note, it was interesting to hear that Sharon’s meds are kicking in – I wonder what this will mean for the character.” Read about more drama in The Young and the Restless Weekly Blog.
