Michael relayed that Stephanie had drugs in her system before she met up with Jack and refused to prosecute him for her death, which wasn’t Jack’s fault. When Victor asked Jack to step away from Newman, Jack insisted he already had and told Victor to deal with Adam now. Jack convinced Neil to join him at Jabot. As Avery cheered on Nick, someone spotted a photo of Nick and Avery in the newspaper and eyed The Underground reopening flyer. Later, Phyllis turned down Jack’s offer of a reunion then changed her mind after seeing Nick and Avery together.
