Add Rick Springfield to the growing list of alum returning for “General Hospital’s” 50th Anniversary. Per People, the actor is set to reprise his role of Patrick’s (Jason Thompson) absentee father Noah Drake. He has not started filming yet.

People magazine is helping “General Hospital” celebrate 50 years. The special hardcover issue will feature couples and events going back to 1963 with the Hardys and the Brewers. Moving through time, the issue will feature Luke and Laura’s wedding, Maxie’s heart transplant, Stone and Robin, and more.

McBain, Lucy and Rafe discover that Caleb took Sam, but left her son behind. Rafe is left in charge of Danny, as John and Lucy take off in pursuit of the vampire wannabe and his captive. Unfortunately for Rafe and Danny, they’re still in danger as they encounter Heather again. During all this, Lucy and Rafe have visions of Alison, who urges Lucy to protect her son and tells Rafe Caleb is his father.

Per Soaps in Depth, a casting call has gone out for an 18 – 24-year-old to play a passionate and impulsive “raven haired beauty.” The role is contract and will begin airing in February.

Over talk of Jamie, Paul tells Christine he informed Phyllis of Summer’s part in the bullying. Christine doesn’t think Summer has had the best example in Phyllis and is determined to make her nemesis pay for her own crimes. Michael arrives at Paul’s and asks Christine if she has found a job yet. He offers her one if she’s interested – to become the new District Attorney. Michael plans to step down and shares what’s going on at home. Paul and Christine reassure Michael before he leaves.
Carmine finds Lauren in the club dining room and asks if she wants to share a nightcap. Lauren reminds him she’s married then goes to her room. Abby appears and wants to start over. Carmine refuses, which leaves Abby to question his sudden interest in Lauren. He warns Abby his life is none of her business.
