It was mass confusion last week as Liam rethought his latest shaky decision on “B&B,” Sonny woke up in bed with Kate after he went to bed with Connie on “GH,” Chelsea didn’t even know herself on “Y&R,” and Kristen was unclear about how normal people progress relationships on “DOOL.” One thing there was absolutely no confusion about in Salem? Abigail’s virginity. Just ask anyone.
We all wanted Liam to make a decision, but even Candace thought he got a little too much heat from his meddling possible mother-in-law to be. “If Brooke was so keen on Liam being free of manipulations to make his decision – and so sure he’d choose Hope – why did she feel the immediate need to manipulate him into a re-enactment of the ceremony in Italy?” she asked. “I guess when she manipulates it’s a sweet and thoughtful surprise. Too funny! Between Father Fontana spouting his rhetoric and Brooke urging Liam to put the ring on Hope’s finger it got pretty intense – I thought Liam’s head was going to explode!” Find out if Liam learned about the pregnancy in the Bold and the Beautiful Weekly Blog.
With all of the drama surrounding the baby, Christine was ready to see a little love return to Salem. “It was plain to see how much Sonny still loves Will when he rushed from the cafe still in his apron to support Will, and it was a nice touch to have Sonny find the letter addressed to him from Will, talking about second chances,” she said. “I smell a reunion next week.” Chime in about Lucas’ attitude in the Days of Our Lives Weekly Blog.
Scotty Baldwin came back to Port Charles and there was no love lost between him and Luke. “Things were a little more hopping outside the party when Luke and Laura met up on the deck of the ship,” Hollie said. “Of course, they barely started talking about his breakup with Anna before Scotty emerged with news of his engagement to Luke’s ex. But it is also great to see the writers tap into Scott’s vast history with Lucy. Kevin was not the only man who has saved her in the past, and Lucy even acted as a surrogate for Scott’s baby way back when. This is a reunion I hope happens sooner than later.” Read more about the jailbreak in the General Hospital Weekly Blog.
A little sex between Rafe and Kate and they already formed a united front for the sake of the baby. “Rafe and Kate did their best to lure Fallon the felon away from doing anything daft,” Matt said. “Nick pouted about how he’d done his time and shouldn’t be punished for it while the town is roamed by criminals like his new arch enemy, Samanther the brain spatterer. Kate went into eyebrow overload during this luncheon and Rafe took her away so they could play drop the anchor. We were later treated to hearing about how much she enjoyed getting her ‘refill’ of ‘decaf’.” Read more about Gabigate in Matt’s Musings.
Dylan seemed to be settling in to town despite Avery’s nervousness about it all. “Avery’s kiss with Dylan sure didn’t seem like it was making her feel that what they had was in the past, but we’ll take her word for it,” Candace said. “Her reunion with Nick was dead boring – even them saying ‘I love you’ for the first time was a snooze. If she was no longer attracted to Dylan why would she be so worried about him staying in town? Perhaps she’s lying to herself – time will tell.” Find out how Nikki is handling her MS in Young and the Restless Weekly Blog.
