July Days Of Our Lives Comings And Goings.

Coming soon…

Take a look at who is headed in and out of Salem this July. Soap Opera Fan Blog will keep you updated as more casting news becomes available.

Guess who is staying? Kristian Alfonso renews contract at Days. Read more in the link.

July 22, Peter Reckell (ex-Bo Brady) was on Twitter discussing rumors going around about him heading to “General Hospital” or returning to “Days.” He set the record straight on Twitter, telling folks, “Ken and I talked, and as before we could not come to an agreement.” He continued about other soap rumors, “The doors that are opening for me are not in Daytime TV.”

“DOOL” is looking for an established Primetime or Daytime actor for the contract role of Seth, a 45-55 year old male. The role will begin shooting in mid-August. The call states, “Seth is an outgoing, charismatic extremely handsome man. He is charming and funny but is also opinionated at times. He is very sure of himself which sometimes can be mistaken as arrogance…. The one real chink in his armor is his young son. He is fiercely protective of him. There is some mystery as to their past and he could very well have a darker to his personality when backed into a corner.”

Sonny’s friend Brent, played by Tyler Sellers will be seen in Salem for a while in scenes with Sonny.

Setside sources are talking and saying “DOOL” is casting a Nick Fallon look-alike – not a recast, but the role is said to be for November Sweeps.

There is a look-alike being cast for November sweeps! This role’s a one day principle role for an actress strongly resembling Eileen Davidson. She will be a 30-40 year-old gorgeous blonde, 5’7″ and wear a size 2-4 dress. Blonde hair must be two to four inches past her shoulders. Actress will start shooting the week of July 22. UPDATE: Eva Swan will be playing this part. Read Eva’s blog dated Wednesday July 17 to learn how the casting process went.

Patsy Pease posted a note on Facebook saying she was asked to return to “DOOL” to reprise her role as Kimberly for scenes airing in November. She’d start taping mid-July.

Casey Deidrick (Chad) shot his final scenes on June 21. The actor tweeted:

Soap Opera Fan will update fans with a final airdate for Casey Deidrick when the time comes.

There is a casting call for ‘Ben’, a new contract character who is in his 20s, gorgeous, Caucasian, and either a Midwestern or Southern country boy who is charming, honest, and sincere. The show would prefer if he plays an instrument and sings.

The show is also casting for the contract role of Sabrina, a 17 or 18 year old, gorgeous, Caucasian, shy, sweet, and innocent.

Daytime Emmy winner Chandler Massey stated that he plans to leave the role of Will Horton.

Maurice Benard’s (Sonny, “GH”) wife Paula Benard tweeted that their son Joshua will be playing a part on “DOOL.”

Drake Hogestyn (John) will be off starting later this summer but is already back taping. The actor tweeted:

Nadia Bjorlin will be returning to “Days” as Chloe Lane for several episodes sometime late in the summer/fall. She shot her scenes on May 16.

Former “All My Children” actress Chrishell Stause has been cast in a brand new role. Her material will start airing in August.

“General Hospital” alum Jen Lilley (ex-Maxie) has been cast on DOOL. Jen plays Theresa (Jeannie) Donovan, Shane and Kimberly’s daughter. She is first seen July 3 and in scenes with JJ and Jenn.

For Days Let Christan have that chance with brady don’t do this to her or brady again.I hope the computer broke when she through her purse.Eric does not deserve that and every one deserves happiness. Find the blade ans clear sammy and aloud everyone to know that the cop was corrupted.please let rafe dream the in fact sammy did save his life against his own fellow cop.I have watched days since i was 12 and now i am 57.Please let sephano step down gracefully and let the kids take over. Its time for stephano to be a good guy with kate and surrounded by all his family king of like victor. He already lost enough children its time to enioy the family he has left.

well, if peter reckell does not return as bo, are they gonna replace him with a “new” bo? i can’t see hope and ciara just hanging around for someone who is never returning.. i sure wish peter would return to days..
just saw where sami and eric are gonna be in a movie on saturday nite called “second chances”.. should be good..
poor brady, still wanting kristen. i kind of thought this might happen..
and adrienne has lost her son doing what she did (maybe even justin), although justin was in the dark about sami’s encounter with bernardi.. good leverage for stefano??

  4. From dc

from what i have read chad is leaving the show.. a recent article i read about him indicated that he was gonna have a tumor (just like lexie had) from those tunnels under salem, and he was exposed..
and it appears that kristen is gonna bring that horrible person back, just so she can try to get that evidence that the investigator finds (if he finds any).
from what i have read gabi and will may not return to the show after december. i know will said he was going back to school. i just wonder how they will write them out??
