CBS daytime’s Angelica McDaniel announced via Twitter that former “All My Children” actress Cady McClain (ex-Dixie) will replace Cynthia Watros as Kelly. Watros will last appear in the role on March 14. Stay tuned for further details.

Super Bowl XLVIII champion Seattle Seahawks fullback Michael Robinson will guest star on “Y&R” on Thursday March 13.

Max Page, who plays Reed Hellstrom, is currently taping scenes for an upcoming brief return. As of yet there is no air date available.

TV Guide is reporting that Jill Larson (ex-Opal, “All My Children”) and “The Bold And The Beautiful’s” Jacob Young (Rick) and Linsey Godfrey (Caroline) will appear in episodes during April 11 – 16 for the soap’s upcoming fashion show storyline.

The show casting for the role of Molly, who’s said to be 30 – 40 years old, blonde and is starting to live again after dealing with numerous difficulties in her life. Since Cynthia Watros will be busy with her new project “Finding Carter” could it be “Y&R” is looking for a new Kelly?

Stephanie Erb will appear as Dr. Janice Mead on February 21 in scenes with Sharon Case (Sharon).

Robert Craighead will return to the show as Judge Wayne on Monday February 3.

David Tom, who played Billy Abbott from 1999 to 2002, will reprise the role beginning on February 3.

Tristan Rogers is returning to “Y&R ” as Colin Atkinson. He’ll appear in scenes with Jess Walton (Jill) beginning in early 2014 and started taping on January 9.

Steve Burton announced via Twitter that he just signed a new contract to stay with “Y&R.”



Chris McKenna (ex-Joey Buchanan, “One Life To Live”) took to Twitter to announce that he would be appearing on the show for a few episodes. The actor started taping on January 22 and will appear as Mark Harding beginning on February 17.

Michael Muhney, who played Adam Newman, had his last air date on January 30. In light of Michael Muhney being fired from Y&R there is no word on whether or not the character will be recast.

Hartley Sawyer will be leaving the role of Kyle Abbott. As of yet, there is no word when or if there will be a recast.

The show is looking to cast the role of Josh Williams, a relative of Paul’s. The contract role and character is described as mid-to-late thirties, good-looking, accomplished, has an intelligent presence in business and is one who can take on even the shrewdest competitor.

“Y&R” is casting for the role of Connor Boyd, who is described as vibrant and sexy and in his mid 20s. Though the character comes from an affluent background, he craves to be carefree, even though his family expects him to take the business world by storm.

The show has put out a casting call for the contract role of Andrew Abbott, a never-before-seen cousin. Andrew is described as a strong, handsome, very driven, ambitious, educated man in his mid to late 30s.

“Young And The Restless” is looking for a strong brunette actress to portray ‘Ally’, in a lead role. The character is 20-24 years old and described as “sweet, lovely, and eager to begin her path.” The role starts shooting as soon as possible.
