Former As the World Turns actor Paul Leyden has been cast to play Blake. Paul will tape his first scenes on September 7 and appear in Genoa City on October 6.
Susan Olsen plays Mrs. Morton on September 1.
Jerry Douglas will reappear as John’s ghost on September 2.

GH alum Sebastian Roche (Jerry Jacks) will be heading back to Primetime for a part in the CW series “Supernatural.”
Roche will continue to probe the dark side as he plays Balthazar, one of Castiel’s old friends. Fans should look for him to pop up during one of the October episodes. “Supernatural” begins its sixth season on September 24 at 9:00 PM EST.
Former GH star Finola Hughes (ex-Anna) will be making a guest starring appearance on the sitcom “Melissa & Joey.”
Hughes will play a dance judge on the September 28 episode titled, “Dancing With the Stars of Toledo.” DWTS stars professional dancer Mark Ballas will also be appearing in the episode. Ballas was Melissa Joan Hart’s partner when she appeared on the reality show’s 9th season. Her co-star Joey Lawrence appeared in the 3rd season of the series.
Days of Our Lives will be celebrating their 45th Anniversary this year with a special event.
On Tuesday September 28, four to five panels will be discussing the show in minute detail while they celebrate the past and take a look at what the future holds for the soap. The event is being held at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre, located at 5230 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood, CA. It will start at 7:30 PM.
General Hospital‘s Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) and Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri) are teaming up to help raise money for The Children’s Wish Foundation of Ontario.
On September 11, they will travel to Toronto for a special event. Some fortunate fans will have the chance to spend the day with Dominic and Lisa, including a private brunch, a Blue Jays baseball game in a private suite at the Rogers Centre, and photo and Q&A opportunities. Only 10 spots available for this event. One will be auctioned off while the other nine will be sold at the price of the winning bid. All net proceeds will be donated to The Children’s Wish Foundation of Ontario.
