Fans have been worried that they wouldn’t get the chance to watch the 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards but you will! The awards show will be televised on CBS from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM EST. Soap Opera Fan Blog reported back in March that the show will be held on Sunday June 27 at the Las Vegas Hilton in Las Vegas, Nevada. This will be the first time the show has been planned in Vegas.

Variety has announced that two networks are in negotiations with the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) to air this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards show. As of right now, should this come to pass, the show will tentatively be held at the Las Vegas Hilton on Sunday June 27. Stay tuned for further details…

Are you anxious to find out if some of your favorite Daytime actors were voted into this first round of nominations? Well, you don’t have to wait any longer!
Though they don’t seem like much, Soap Opera Fan Blog brings you the rulebook changes for this year’s upcoming 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
The biggest show award, for Outstanding Drama Series, wants a minimum of 19% of the shows’ original episodes, which involve all of the numerous producers, and will allow the one-hour soaps only one episode to account for, whereas The Bold and the Beautiful will be allowed two, since it is only a half-hour show.
