Soaps.com’s Lori Wilson ran into a few of our favorite soap opera stars from “The Bold And The Beautiful” last weekend at the 38th Annual Daytime Emmys. Heather Tom (Katie) confessed with a giggle, that it took her two hours to get ready for the awards show. She glammed it up with an up do, and finished off her look by wearing a long silk sheath in ivory. It’s a flashback to the 1930s. Gorgeous!
Heather Tom (Katie, “The Bold And The Beautiful”) made her way down the red carpet last weekend at the 38th Annual Daytime Emmys and stopped for a brief interview with Soaps.com reporter Lori Wilson. Heather touched base on her nomination, what’s to come for her and Bill (Don Diamont) and how she feels about the upcoming ABC soap opera cancellations.
“The Bold And The Beautiful’s” Kim Matula (Hope) chatted it up with Soaps.com reporter Lori Wilson on the red carpet last Sunday at the 38th Annual Daytime Emmys. She talked about how it felt to return to Vegas this year versus last, where she got her jewelry from, and what she did during her downtown in Sin City.
John Aniston (Victor, “DOOL”) looked his usual dapper self on the red carpet at the Daytime Emmy Awards show this past weekend. The actor talked with Soaps.com’s Lori Wilson about what a great time he’s having in Vegas, about his alter ego, Victor Kiriakis, and about the changes to “DOOL.”
Chad Duell (Michael, “GH”) found Lori Wilson on the red carpet at the 2011 Daytime Emmys. He was nominated for best younger actor, yet didn’t take home the Emmy this time around. We feel he’s a shoe in next year for his work during Michael’s rape storyline. Chad discusses some changes to his character and thoughts on the new head writer, Garin Wolf.
Ronn Moss (Ridge, “Bold and The Beautiful”) stopped by to introduce himself to Lori Wilson on the red carpet this weekend at the 38th Annual Daytime Emmys. Ronn had his beautiful wife Devin Devasquez on his arm and they both discussed why soap operas should go Primetime in order to avoid cancellation.
Daytime Emmy weekend has wrapped up. Everyone has arrived home, unpacked those glamorous gowns and a few have displayed their Emmys on the mantle.

Last Sunday our sister site Soaps.com’s reporter Lori Wilson was on the red carpet at the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards and had the chance to interview various stars about what they were wearing, their current and upcoming storylines and how it felt to return to Vegas for the event.
“Days Of Our Lives’ Eric Martsolf (Brady) stated, “You know, it’s a different kind of Emmys this year in the sense that we want to celebrate, but we also are mourning in a sense that we lost some shows. It’s actually created a really good spirit amongst everybody. No one really seems to be competitive this year. It’s more of a coming together of a whole Daytime community in a way that I don’t think has really happened in a long time.”
