Circling around.

Hope was relieved when Liam told her they weren’t technically married. She mocked the vows he made and said their wedding was a hoax. He begged for forgiveness. And then begged some more… and some more. She didn’t think she could do that and walked out. Meanwhile, Steffy lashed out at Brooke for keeping the video floating around. They bickered about Liam’s feelings. Steffy made it clear that she’d keep her distance, but if Liam wanted her back, she’d take him. When Brooke left, Hope showed up and told Steffy she could have Liam. She even handed over her wedding band. Steffy told her to try to get over it. Dayzee and Marcus’ wedding went ahead after Lt. Baker decided to leave them to it. The cop returned to the hospital to speak with Anthony about the accident. After filling him in about the texting, Anthony wondered how someone could hit him and then drive off to his wedding. Back at the Forresters, the toasts to the newlyweds began. Caroline was a bit confused about the cops showing up so Thomas filled her in. After they made out, he decided to do some damage control while Marcus was away for his honeymoon. They went to see Anthony, who said that Marcus was not the good man he thought he was. Meanwhile, Marcus cut the honeymoon short by telling his bride what had happened. They went to the hospital immediately. Anthony wasn’t happy to see him. Marcus tried apologizing. The cops were there to hear this and Baker declared it a confession. Brooke fretted to Ridge, who told her not to go into a funk if Hope’s marriage goes on the rocks. They went to see Taylor and Steffy, who were hugging. Dayzee started worrying that Marcus was having cold feet. He assured her he just wanted a long engagement. Thomas badgered him to hurry up and seal the deal. Eric showed up with a stack of wedding dress ideas. She liked Thomas’ the best. While Tom was flirting with her, Marcus rushed off and asked Stephanie if the wedding could happen at her place. Steffy told her mother that she nearly got back with Liam. She stopped herself because she realized that Bill had sabotaged the wedding, but still cried about letting Liam go. Thomas showed up and dragged his sister outside to make her stop moping. That failed. Meanwhile, Hope and Liam flew home. She picked up her final things to move into his place and gassed to her mom about how happy she was. Brooke called Steffy and thanked her for being so graceful in Italy. Steffy told her mom this. Taylor rolled her eyes and they talked about what a manipulator Bill was. Steffy spotted Liam and rushed over, causing a coffee spill. They had an awkward conversation about how they’d always love each other. She reminded him he was married to another woman now and admitted that she’d told her mom everything. Liam and Steffy discussed the fake note. She urged him to prepare for his wedding. He admitted he still loved her and kissed her before she walked out. Outside, Ridge was trying to get answers out of Bill about this mess but not having any luck. Hope walked by to say the wedding was still on. Ridge decided that he would give her away after all. Meanwhile, Steffy tracked down Bill and confronted him about trying to ruin the wedding. She ordered him to simply accept Hope into his stupid family. He moped over to Hope’s room to bury the hatchet. After he welcomed her to the Spencer family, the ceremony commenced. Everyone watched as they tied the knot on a cliff. Bill made a speech saying he finally accepted all of this. Steffy sat across the street thinking of her failed marriage. Wonky wedding.

Ridge tried to comfort a distraught Steffy, but to no avail. She ran off to see Hope and told her she couldn’t stand attending the ceremony. Ridge wandered off to see Liam, who was in the middle of being lectured by Bill about what a mistake marrying Hope was. Bill ran back to his hotel to get Deacon ready for the next stage of the plan. Meanwhile, Hope moved the ceremony to the church and tried on her dress. When she was left alone, Deacon showed up. She was overwhelmed. He explained why he’d stayed out of her life for so long. As the wedding party flew to Italy, everyone worried about Steffy. She kept insisting she was okay. When they landed, she started sobbing as Liam and Hope ran around making PDAs. She tried to avoid them, but the giggly blonde and her bearded boy kept popping up everywhere. Eventually, Steffy cornered Hope alone and told her she couldn’t stand up at her wedding. Hope tried on her wedding dress and hoped that Liam had managed to say goodbye to his marriage. She called him to make sure. He was saying goodbye to Steffy at the time. That wasn’t easy for him, so she just handed over the ring and gave him a goodbye kiss. Brooke rushed to her daughter and promised she’d get Ridge on their side. The rest of the families were anxiously waiting for news about what Liam had decided to do. Bill dropped in on his son the next day to find out. He was appalled that Liam had let Steffy go. Deacon gave in to Bill’s demands and agreed to help him out for a get-out-of-jail card. Over at Spencer, Katie bumped into Bill’s sister and Danielle. She gushed about her baby news and wondered what her husband was up to. Bill returned to the office. His sister set up Dani to have a job interview with him.
