Scruples Pilot Picked Up By ABC.

ABC has just green-lighted a pilot based on the best selling Judith Krantz series “Scruples.” Natalie Portman (“Thor,” “Black Swan”), along with Judith’s son Tony Krantz (former CAA agent) will join Annette Savitch, Bob Brush and Mel Harris as executive producers. Brush and Harris will also write for the project.

Branded as the next sexy, Primetime soap, “Scruples” follows Billy Ikehorn, who opens a Beverly Hills boutique called ‘Scruples’, after the death of her senior millionaire husband has left her bored. Valentine O’Neill (sassy clothing designer) and Valentine’s friend “Spider” Elliot (photographer), both unlucky in love, come onboard as employees in her new venture. Valentine has no idea that she’s dating a gay man and Spider’s model girlfriend only loves herself. Along the way, they find love and fortune.

Rick Springfield Returns To General Hospital.

According to Entertainment Weekly the Drake brothers are about to get their father back. Rick Springfield will be returning to “General Hospital” to reprise the role of Noah Drake in March. Lesley-Anne Down Exits The Bold And The Beautiful.

According to her official website, Lesley-Anne Down’s (Jackie) contract on “B&B” has not been renewed by Bradley Bell. This means that the veteran film and TV star will not be sticking around for much longer. Don’t feel too bad though. This statement was also issued on her site, “Your continued effort and support of Lesley-Anne is so appreciated by her. When one door closes another one opens. E! Not Renewing Dirty Soap For A Second Season.

The crossover into Reality TV hasn’t panned out for some of Daytime’s stars. The E! Network has decided not to renew the series, “Dirty Soap.” The series featured former “One Life To Live” actors John-Paul Lavoisier (ex-Rex) and his girlfriend Farah Fath (ex-Gigi), former “Days Of Our Lives” actress Nadia Bjorlin (ex-Chloe), her boyfriend “DOOL” alum and “The Bold And The Beautiful” supporting player Brandon Beemer (Owen), and “General Hospital” actresses Kelly Monaco (Sam) and Kirsten Storms (Maxie). General Hospital Welcomes Back Emma Samms.

Yet another vet is headed back to Port Charles. Emma Samms will be returning to “GH” as Holly Sutton. This will land her straight in between Luke (Anthony Geary) and their son, Ethan (Nathan Parsons).
