The latest Salem love triangle banner has been replaced!

Jill Widner has been at it again! She designed a lovely new banner for Soap Opera Fan Blog just in time to help with the reboot of “Days Of Our Lives.”

We bid adieu to Carly (Crystal Chappell) and Vivian (Louise Sorel), and now we welcome back John (Drake Hogestyn), Marlena (Deidre Hall), Jack (Matt Ashford), Austin (Patrick Muldoon), and Carrie (Christie Clark). What better way is there to welcome them with a fresh banner, and Jill did just that for us. See the new banner to your right, which will be posted today on the main “DOOL” page of Soap Opera Fan. What would you like to see happen with John and Marlena while they’re in Salem? Are you anxious to learn the secret they’re keeping from their friends and family or have you already read the spoilers, and are patiently awaiting the day for everything to come out? How about Jack? The Bad Girls of Salem banner has been replaced!

Jill Widner designed yet another brilliant banner for Soap Opera Fan that we’ve already been complimented on via email a few times! We used to have the John Black banner that Dustin had up when it was ‘Dustin’s Days Page’ and we loved it and miss John Black. We decided to try something new and are asking readers to create banners for us to post. The banner after the John Black banner was the Bad Girls of Salem from Jill Widner, and who didn’t love that?!

Say goodbye to the John Black banner!

Soap Opera Fan, or as most know the site fondly by “Dustin’s Days Page,” is doing away with that great John Black banner. Yes, we know. Finally! We feel the same and I wanted to change it ages ago but I won’t dwell if you won’t!

We’re happy to announce that we still want you the DOOL fans to create your own great banners and send them in for posting, just as Dustin once did.

Criteria:

Size should be 400px × 259px, which is the size of the original. We’d rather not have anything to do with the Ejami vs Safe fight unless it’s poking fun at it! Instead of having Dustin’s Days Page on the banner, you can use ‘Soap Opera Fan’. Read the rest of this entry »
