The always busy “DOOL” star Alison Sweeney (Sami) will be dropping in on the set of the Emmy Award-winning talk show “The Doctors” on Wednesday May 30. The actress, reality TV show host and mother of two will be sharing some of her inside secrets on how she juggles motherhood, a busy television career and training for a marathon among other things.
Suzanne Rogers (Maggie) and Walt Willey (ex-Jack, “All My Children”) will be co-hosting the 10th Anniversary Fundraiser for Samantha’s Friends, a charity which awards Service Canines to persons with physical disabilities.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City, CA on Saturday June 2. It will run from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Many other stars from “DOOL” will also be on hand for the event. “Days Of Our Lives” star Arianne Zucker (Nicole) will be guest starring in the third season of web soap “DeVanity.” Zucker will play Julia Regis, the nasty sister of DeVanity business rival Andrew Regis, who just happens to be played by her real life husband Kyle Lowder (ex-Shawn, “DOOL,” ex-Rick, “B&B”). “DOOL” alum Shelby Young (ex-Kinsey) is currently in Wallingford, Connecticut shooting a feature film. “The Midnight Game” will co-star Renee Olstead (“The Secret Life of the American Teenager”) and Deborah Twiss (“School of Rock: Zombie Etiquette”). We haven’t heard much about Nick (Blake Berris) since he went to prison for killing Mel’s (Molly Burnett) psychotic adoptive father Trent (Roscoe Born). Berris has been busy though. Since leaving Salem, he has had roles on “The Big Bang Theory,” “The Mentalist” and “Breaking Bad.” He’s also finished three films. One of them is the feature, “The House Of Last Things,” a supernatural thriller about a haunted house in Oregon. The film will be hitting the festival circuit soon.
