At the office, Hope gets a call about the prison release letter she was supposed to have received. She lectures some cop for not giving it to her. He explains he gave it to Ciara “He’s lying!” lies Ciara. Hope sends the cop away and asks her daughter for the truth. Ciara points to the letter right behind her mom’s desk. Hope heads to the rectory to see Vargas. She shows him Jensen’s mug shot and explains he’s free. He’s shocked that anyone would ever let him out. Hope’s clueless about what to do so he suggests she talk to Nick. He explains that Jensen targeted Nick, beat him and raped him, but Nick got revenge. Read the rest of this entry »

Ciara is in the square with the envelope of doom. Nicole pops up and asks what she’s doing. “It’s private. You know what means?” Ciara shoots back. Caroline shows up and sits with Nic while Ciara and Johnny play My Little Pony. Nic and Ma Brady discuss Eric, Rafe and Sami’s idiocy. Meanwhile, Johnny asks Ciara to show him what’s in her envelope. She tells him what’s in her envelope isn’t for boys. He tries to take it from her Caroline comes over and stops them. Johnny grabs the envelope when Ciara isn’t looking. At Casa DiMera, Kristen tells Brady that she’s not turning her back on her family and, if he can’t handle it, they should call the wedding off. This doesn’t make sense to him. She explains that he’s too good and she’ll hurt him. Kristen begs him to take the exit she’s giving him. He’s still confused. Maggie barges in with a wedding gift. Kristen leaves them alone. Someone lurks outside of Jenn’s as she departs, noting the door was open. Over at the hospital, Daniel is chatting with Maxine. They wonder where Anne is. The babysitter brings Parker in. “G’morning little duuuuude!” the doctor growls as he picks him up. Jenn arrives. “Holy barnacles!” Daniel says. She pulls out the train she sat on this morning and hand sit to the kid. Jenn and Dan make out. Anne shows up and gags. Jenn heads to her office and Anne follows her. Milbauer rolls up her sleeves and threatens to fully enforce the hospital’s codes of conduct and that means no more PDAs. Daniel appears as Milbauer lectures. After Jenn walks off, Anne tells ‘golden boy’ that his magic hands do not not make him the boss of her. He explains that Chloe told him about the shady things she helped her do. The doctor threatens to tell Mr. Burns if she misbehaves again. Jenn returns. “High-ho, it’s back to work I go,” says Anne, walking off. She huffs and puffs and complains to Maxine about the Horton. Kate and Rafe lounge in his bed when her phone starts ringing. He won’t let her out of bed. They start doing it as Stefano calls. The phone keeps ringing. She finally checks her messages and pulls a face. Reluctantly, she tells him Stefano is back in town. He offers to talk to her ex but she doesn’t think it’s a good idea to rattle his cage. She assures Rafe that she doesn’t love Stefano anymore. What they had was like the Stockholm Syndrome. “Does this mean I have to make you my prisoner?” he jokes. They make out. House Cleaning.

Chloe calls Daniel and offers to come over and help him with their son. Brady shows up at the doctor’s. He starts quizzing him about Jenn. Meanwhile, over at the mansion, Victor sarcastically tells Chloe he’s over the moon to have her back in town. She begins lecturing him about how non-child friendly and environmentally unhealthy the mansion is. She forbids him from going near Parker until he switches dry cleaning companies. The diva begins insisting that the ducts be cleaned. That doesn’t go well. He lectures her for destroying the men in his family. She trashes Philip and Brady until he gives her the boot. That puts a smile on her face. She heads straight to Daniel’s and informs him that Victor has thrown her out. Chloe moans about having nowhere to go so he suggests she move in there. He leaves to sort a few things out. Chloe is pretty happy with herself since she has no idea that the doctor is calling a hotel to book himself a room. Read the rest of this entry »

Sami opens a ring box in her office. EJ asks her what she thinks of his proposal. She’s amazed. He explains that this was the accountant’s idea. She’s confused. “It’s not like we’re making some kind of lifetime commitment,” he says. She’s baffled. Sami starts to huff and puff as he babbles, saying that he can call Diane in to take her place while she’s looking after the children. He pulls out a bunch of rings. She’s even more confused. He finally tells her that this is all part of their new ad campaign. Embarrassed, she admits she was expecting a different kind of proposal. He says that would have been a little bit forward. “Life with you is never going to be tedious and dull,” he says, sucking her ears. They smooch. He locks the door and they climb on top of the desk. Chloe runs into Brady at Caffeinated. She starts hugging him until Kristen shows up. After the ladies are introduced, Kristen teases Brady about how hot Chloe is and then tells the diva they should have lunch some time. She putters off. Chloe clues in to who she is. She teases him about dating his almost step-mom and guesses he got his shiner from his father. Chloe rehashes everything he did for her before she left town. They worry that Kate might tell someone about her turning tricks. The diva is optimistic she has Kate out of her life. Meanwhile, Kristen calls her dad. Elvis meets his sister at Caffeinated. Marlena arrives and starts sneering. She issues a warning to Kristen. The DiMera tells her this is all in her mind. John arrives. He leads the shrink away. “I came in and there she was,” she complains. He’s baffled and leads her out. EJ tells his sister how impressed he is by her ability to upset Marlena. She changes the subject to Sami. Kristen wants him to be Sami’s new boss. He wonders what’s in this for her. She claims she just wants to make the whole family happy. Working for CW means he’ll have to talk to their father. He likes his current ‘bitter and estranged’ relationship with Stefano. After some prodding, he agrees to think this over.
