Roman and his shadow drop by the townhouse. He tells John and Marlena that they both passed the residue test… but Will didn’t. They’re shocked. Marlena would stake her life on Will being innocent. That sounds suspicious to Roman. “What is wrong with you?” Marlena snipes. Roman tells them they need to follow procedure. He’s being brutally honest and he’s noticed that the people close to him are lying. Roman gets a call telling him that EJ posted Will’s bail. They wonder why. Marlena keeps insisting that Will couldn’t hurt a fly. She spouts off and accuses Roman of only caring about Stefano. He insists that this is not easy for him and the investigation is not over. Roman sits in the square reading the paper. Officer Martine Kent, his shadow on the case, arrives. He explains that the governor’s men will be taking over the investigation soon, especially since he is closely connected to most of the suspects. Abe leads Lexi, blindfolded, into the square where there is a Paris-themed gathering set up for her. Abe tells Lexi, “Je t’aime.” They dance. Abigail tells Cameron Lexi looks happy. He says he couldn’t have done this without EJ. Abigail says she has a brother too – it turns out Cameron went to the same boarding school JJ is at. Melanie sits on Chad’s knee and gets sketched. Gabi appears. Abigail notices her unhappily watching Chad with Mel. Lexi goes to thank EJ for helping out, and for getting along with Abe. EJ admits to his sister that he’s not okay. Lexi thinks good things will happen for him – he’s a good man. Celeste watches Abigail with Cameron and reads the tarot cards with a dark look. Cameron accuses Celeste of using the cards to disguise her dislike for Abigail. Abigail has joined Melanie, Gabi, and Chad, who says Gabi is getting weird phone calls from her stalker. She informs her family that she is not seeking any more treatment. She refuses to spend her final days suffering from therapies that can’t save her. Her brother urges her to reconsider. She shakes her head and her family has to accept her choice. Cameron’s not ready to lose the sister he just found. She makes them all promise to keep her impending death a secret from Theo. Chad wanders through the square and is mobbed by some random chicks. Mel arrives as some girl smooches him. She chases the hoochies off. Chad’s impressed, scared and turned on. Over at the coffee house, Gabi tells Will he doesn’t have to pretend to be gay to make her feel better. He’s not pretending. Will explains how he has come to accept who he is. He’s at peace with it for the most part. She feels like this is her fault. He insists she was irrelevant. She tells him the last guy she liked was gay too. “You just need to have your gaydar tuned a bit,” he jokes. He’s sorry if he ever made her feel undesirable. Mel and Chad enter guffawing. Will urges Gabi to give up on Chad. She’s sure that she still has a chance with him… she just needs to get Mel out of the picture. Gabi attempts to guilt him into helping her. She heads over to start playing head games with the couple. Will interrupts her as she does her best to make Mel jealous. He drags his ex away and tells her this is hopeless. She refuses to see that. At the hospital, Bo’s eyes dart around. Hope welcomes him back. His eyes close. She yells at him to open them again. Daniel comes to check on the situation. She says that Bo is ready to come out of the coma. He takes a bit of convincing but agrees. Once the doctor sets things in motion, Hope cheerleads Bo back into consciousness. “Fancy Face,” he gasps. He asks the doctor to give them some time alone. Bo could hear her talking to him while he was under. She climbs on top of him and gives him a kiss.

At the hospital, Billie tells Bo that she doesn’t know when Hope will get there. Hope walks in. She climbs on top of Bo and heaves sobs. She thanks Billie and gives her a hug. Hope begs Bo to come back to her. Time passes. His beard grows. After Billie leaves, Hope kisses Bo and tells him to fight. Ciara shows up and leaps into her mom’s arms. Ciara’s lost a tooth. They play with each other’s hair and discuss skip rope. After sending the little girl off to Caroline, Hope keeps begging Beauregard to come back to her. His hand touches hers. Marlena suddenly realizes it’s Abe’s anniversary and says he should be with Lexi. They send him off. Roman starts placing calls to the ISA. The shrink paces until Roman decides to lead her out.
