EJ asks his father to confirm something, Rafe stops Carrie from walking out and Lucas gets down to work with Sami.

Big lies.

It looks like John, Marlena, Hope, Bo, Rafe and Carrie have all been blown to kingdom come. It turns out they’re actually fine. Roman decides it would be best to keep this a secret and let Stefano believe that his enemies are dead. Back in Salem, EJ laughs at Sami when she tells him she’s back with Lucas. He gets called to the site of the explosion for his official mayoral visit. Roman warns him that Stefano will pay for this and then runs off to hide the ‘dead’ while Shane heads to Salem to tell their families they are all gone. The unpleasant news comes as Will is in the middle of coming out to his father. After hearing that Lucas has gotten back with Sami though, Will realizes his dad might not be mature enough to handle his news. They’re distracted by the news of the explosion. Brady pays Nicole a visit, Stefano issues an order to end things and Sami shares another kiss with Lucas.

“Thank you for not giving up on me.”

Madison gets a lawyer, Lucas kisses Sami and Marlena gets nabbed by a man with a blade.

When Stefano’s enemies attempt to escape from his latest attack, he’s already a step ahead of them.

“Mind if I join you?”

Billie bothers EJ, Bo heads home and Sami and Lucas spend some time with their children.

“Hope my insurance covers puncture wounds.”

Madison can’t get rid of Kate, EJ discovers his father might be responsible for Lexi’s illness and Gabi has a stalker.

Looking for someone to blame.

Elvis confronts Stefano after discovering that he is running tests on the tunnel under Casa DiMera. He’s furious at his father for his betrayal and his possible role in Lexi’s illness. Stefano becomes so distraught he takes out the paternity paper to explain that Elvis is not really his son. Before he can, EJ gets called away. When he gets back, Stefano is gone but Billie is there to taunt him. Meanwhile, John, Hope, Bo and Marlena decide that, given Lexi’s condition, they should back off on Stefano for awhile. He makes that difficult by sending them threats and demanding his coin be returned. John starts to arrange for security but he’s not fast enough. Abe confronts Stefano, Rafe walks in on Gabi and Will, Celeste gets a shiver and Elvis shares some more sad moments with his sister.

Kate flips her wig when she catches Lucas and Sami in a liplock. Lucas admits that working with his ex probably isn’t the best idea, but that’s not going to stop him from doing it anyway. They spend time with the children and even more time kissing. Elvis sees this and is miffed. He claims he doesn’t want another man swanning into his children’s lives. Meanwhile, Kate has stormed off to argue with Madison. They finally agree that they both hate Sami enough to try and make their partnership work.
