Alibis and holidays.
Looking for an alibi, Sonny talks Olivia into attending the gallery opening with him. Meanwhile, following the shooting, Dominic needs an alibi of his own and enlists Lulu’s help. While they tour the art show, Dominic is struck by how eerily familiar one of Franco’s staged crime scene photographs is. The show goes far from smoothly as Luke angrily confronts Sonny over dragging him into the set up that got got Joey killed. Sonny protests his innocence but Jax still doesn’t want him around and kicks him out of the opening. Read the rest of this entry »

Did you ever have a question for a soap star?
Our own Lori Wilson had the chance to catch up with GH’s Laura Wright (Carly Jacks) recently. The actress was gracious enough to answer some questions provided to us by the viewers themselves.
Here’s a sample:
Frustratedfan: Did Carly mellow as a result of Claudia being added as the villain, or was it just time?
Laura Wright: That’s a good question. I do think they probably did mellow…I don’t think they mellowed her thinking about it, I think attention in that evil direction probably went more towards Sarah, which was fine because it was perfect timing for my storyline, other things were going on. It’s a good question, a good point. I don’t think any of it was done purposely, I just think they could really go far with her character and I don’t know what’s going to happen now that she’s gone. I don’t think we have any bad people on the show. Read the rest of this entry »

Our own Lori Wilson caught up with General Hospital Laura Wright (Carly Jacks) for a special interview.
They chat about her career on Daytime, her character’s history and where she could be going in the future.
Here’s a little sample:
So will Carly go back to her manipulative roots? “Right now she doesn’t really have any reason to be that way. I mean that usually comes from a place, so I don’t know. When she finds out that Jax knew about Dante and he kept that secret with Olivia, that may pretty much make her upset,” she chuckled. She went on to speculate where story could go after that reveal, but then further explained her character by stating, “Most of Carly’s manipulation stems from trying to keep a secret, trying to cover a secret, but it always usually comes from her protection of love. It’s not that she’s usually wrong, she’s wrong how she goes about it.” Read the rest of this entry »

It is Monday once again and that means it’s time for a new edition of Lori Wilson’s weekly GH Rundown over at our sister site, Soaps.com.
She writes about the humor on the show, the way things are settling after Claudia’s demise and the way they are setting up for Franco’s arrival. She also has her interest piqued in a Port Charles love triangle.
Here’s a sampling:
“The Nik/Liz/Lucky triangle has gotten more interesting for me. I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s the re-addition of Jonathan Jackson as Lucky, the feeling that it’s all coming to a head, or the fact that Luke now knows, but I’m looking forward to seeing the fallout from Lucky actually finding out the truth about his brother sleeping with his fiancée. Did anyone else wish Elizabeth had actually told Lucky the truth, instead of it only being in her imagination? I would love to see a character unexpectedly blurt out the truth like that just once. However, Elizabeth’s speech at Emily’s grave was well done and pretty honest about how she wanted to stop wanting Nikolas, but basically her heart and body wouldn’t let her. That went a long way with me in understanding where she was coming from.” Read the rest of this entry »
