Genie Francis (Laura) visits “Katie” today to discuss her return to “General Hospital,” the infamous wedding and the secret Laura’s currently keeping. Jon Lindstrom, whose Kevin Collins returns to General Hospital on January 30, served as producer, director, writer and star in “How We Got Away With It.” The movie tells the story of two friends’ reaction to an unexpected tragedy during their annual summer reunion weekend.
Brianne Moncrief (ex-Colby, “All My Children”) also stars and Cady McClain (ex-Dixie, “All My Children,” ex-Rosanna, “As the World Turns”) is listed as an associate producer. Take a look at the trailer below.
Ian Buchanan (Duke) has joined the cast of the web series “Old Dogs & New Tricks.” The series, now in its second season, follows four middle-aged gay friends living in West Hollywood.
Buchanan will appear in four episodes as photographer Christoph who becomes a more age appropriate love interest for one of the Old Dogs. He will debut in the series on March 6. Thom Bierdz (ex-Phillip, “The Young and the Restless”) and Terri Garber (ex-Lesley Carrington, “Dynasty”) will also guest star. Read the rest of this entry »

Though his interview won’t air on the Hallmark Channel until February 13, Sean Kanan stopped by the “Marie” show studios on February 6. The episode will feature Kanan chatting with host Marie Osmond about his return to “General Hospital” and also sharing a Valentine’s Day dinner recipe from his book The Modern Gentleman: Cooking and Entertaining with Sean Kanan.

Marc Anthony Samuel recently joined the General Hospital staff as nursing student Felix DuBois. When he’s not also working part time life as life coach to Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) and Carly (Laura Wright), Felix’s portrayer is working on the film “Hot Guys With Guns.”
Take a look at a scene (which does contain profanity) from the gay action/comedy/thriller, which also stars Kamar de los Reyes (ex-Antonio, “One Life to Live”). The film’s Facebook page describes it this way: “It’s like ‘Lethal Weapon’ only if Danny Glover and Mel Gibson were better looking and ex-boyfriends.”
Sean Kanan (AJ) and his wife Michele will co-host their own Internet radio show. “Kanan’s Rules” will air live on the UBN Radio Network Wednesdays from 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

The cast of “General Hospital” is once again participating in the Fan Build for Habitat For Humanity. The 2013 event will be dedicated to the memory of John Ingle (Edward).
Those confirmed to attend thus far include, Jane Elliot (Tracy Quartermaine), Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis), Jen Lilley (Maxie Jones), Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri), Kelly Sullivan (Kate Howard), Jason Thompson (Dr. Patrick Drake) and Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri).
