Starting November 2, on FOX’s game show, “Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader,” which will feature the following soap stars, playing for charity. Fans can see Days Of Our Lives’ Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Roberts), who hasn’t been seen in Salem, much as of late, along with ex-Liz Chandler, Gloria Loring, General Hospital’s Sarah Brown (Claudia Corinthos), and Tyler Christopher (Nikolas Cassadine) and last, but certainly not least, one of my faves, One Life to Live’s Tuc Watkins (David Vickers)!

Former General Hospital star Rena Sofer (Lois Cerullo) is starring in “Always & Forever,” the new mvie from the Hallmark Channel.

Set to premiere on October 24 at 9:00 PM EST, the movie stars Rena as Grace, a single mother who runs into her old boyfriend at their 20-year high school reunion. It also stars Dean McDermott (“Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood”), Barbara Eden (“I Dream of Jeannie”) and Max Gail (“Barney Miller”).

Former General Hospital star Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio) takes a look at the life of soap stars for “Reality Bytes.”

Even if we haven’t seen him anywhere on Daytime lately, Rogers is still keeping in touch with that world. His latest project seeks to give “a balanced look at what goes on behind the scenes of a soap.” The idea for the series came from writer and web designer Kate Lange. Tristan is enthusiastic about the project, saying on his website that, “It endeavored to address many of the elements that are overlooked today and have always been part of the soap tradition. General Hospital’s Natalia Livingston (Rebecca Shaw) has launched a website dedicated to her family farm in Pennsylvania, Blossom Hill.

Blossom Hill Farm’s 263 acres is now available for various events including movie shoots, vacations, weddings, corporate retreats and family reunions. “This farm holds so many wonderful memories for me. I spent almost every summer there with my sweet grandparents. After my grandfather passed away last year, my family and I wanted to keep the farm alive and active. We truly wanted to share it with others in hopes that they would enjoy it and create special memories as we did,” she stated in a message to her fan club. Read the rest of this entry »

Although viewers of General Hospital know Carolyn Hennesy best as Diane, they will soon have the chance to see her in a new role.

“Cougar Town” has been picked up for a full season by ABC. Max and Diane fans need not worry though. Caroline and Derk Cheetwood (Max) have been shooting scenes again. The actor said on his Twitter page the other day, “Filmed with Carolyn yesterday, the scenes where [sic] great and fun of course, Mostly about where we’ve been and what’s been going on but…FUNNY!”

ABC has announced their fall line up and “Cougar Town,” will premiere on September 23 at 9:30 PM EST.

ABC Daytime is joining forces with “iParticipate” to weave volunteering themes into the fabric of their Daytime dramas.
