After Sam’s conversation with Lucy, she heads to the PCPD to talk with John. Meanwhile, Rafe opens up to Anna, as Molly tells TJ about meeting Rafe. But back to John, a dead body turns up and he is fingered as the culprit.
Spinelli helps Ellie home from the hospital. Since Maxie lives in the same apartment, they just so happen to run into her as she and Lulu get ready for a doctor’s appointment. When Patrick gets wind of Britt’s treatment of his daughter, he wants nothing to do with her. In Michael’s quest to help AJ gain control of ELQ, he appeals to Johnny. He guilts him into admitting Anthony gave him information about Tracy’s connection to the mob. Can Michael get him to turn over the proof? Meanwhile, AJ warns Carly that Michael knows she tried to help him fall off the wagon. Ned overhears, as Tracy turns to Sonny for help against AJ.

Maxie is shocked by Britt’s announcement that she’s pregnant. She wonders if she never miscarried at all, but Britt confirms that she did in fact lose the baby. Since the pregnancy didn’t result from an implanted embryo, that only leaves Spinelli. Meanwhile, as Spinelli looks forward to a future with Ellie, he decides he must come clean about Maxie. In the midst of all this, Olivia has a vision of Maxie with the dog.

Now that Lucy has made Tracy look foolish by appointing her co-CEO of ELQ, AJ leaps into action. Michael is left behind to cover for him in front of Tracy, but she catches him in a lie.
Maxie appeals to Britt to try again with another of Lulu and Dante’s embryos. She then runs into Spinelli, who tells her he needs to be with Ellie, especially now that she can’t feel her legs. As Johnny tells Diane about Todd’s plan, Todd is taken to the hospital. Felix takes note as Todd is treated for injuries incurred from Johnny’s beat down. Todd makes the most of his latest acquaintance and uses Felix to escape. Unfortunately for Todd, he still ends up at his arraignment. He threatens to escape again, but sticks around to make a surprising claim.
AJ takes care of Carly when she gets wrecked at The Floating Rib. He brings her to Todd’s hotel room, upon her request. Carly breaks down when she wakes up. Felix finds her and asks to use the Metro Court Ballroom for the Nurses’ Ball. He also helps ease her hangover and encourages her to show Todd what he’s missing. Read the rest of this entry »
“General Hospital” will celebrate 50 years in Daytime on April 1. While the past year has honored the show’s history by bringing back several fan favorites, executive producer Frank Valentini told TV Guide Magazine that’s only the beginning of acknowledging the show’s milestone.
Valentini previewed that the Nurses’ Ball will air during the week of the actual anniversary. In typical fashion, there will be lots of singing and dancing, including a number by former “Dancing with the Stars” alum Kelly Monaco (Sam). Her professional partner Val Chermkovskiy might even pop up again. In addition, it wouldn’t be a true Nurses’ Ball if Lucy’s clothes didn’t come off, so expect that to happen as well.
