August 21st, 2009 by Matthew Purvis

Rebecca comes clean, Olivia’s secret is discovered and Sam keeps Jason alive.

A drunken Nikolas confronted Rebecca about her deception. She came clean about everything but it only served to further enrage him. After he, literally, gave her the kiss off, he trashed his place before going out on the turret to drink and contemplate being a Cassadine. Elizabeth came and tried to ease him back inside. As she analyzed his pain, he continued to sulk and polish off a bottle of vodka. Finally, he admitted to Liz that the only time he isn’t thinking of the dearly departed Emily is when he’s kissing her. As they passionately made out, Lucky arrived at Wyndemere. He didn’t see anything and Elizabeth quickly left with him, though even he sensed a great deal of awkwardness from her. Molly showed up at the castle to see her cousin. After they talked over their problems, they went out for breakfast the next day at Kelly’s. Read the rest of this entry »

General Hospital Weekly Summary For August 10-14.

August 14th, 2009 by Matthew Purvis

Attacks in Mexico and confrontations in Port Charles.

In Mexico, Michael and Kristina debated about whether or not to leave. He finally convinced her they should go. Unfortunately for them, Jerry had a guard posted at their door. Michael wrestled with the guard and Kristina ran. Before he could tie Michael up, Kristina pulled the fire alarm and Michael escaped in the confusion. The siblings headed for the bus stop. All the while, Jerry pushed Sam around a cemetery before getting her to call Jason, give him directions and blurt out that Jerry had her captive. Sure that Stone Cold was on his way, Jerry cuffed Sam to a circular bed and left her with a nasty man. Jason showed up a few minutes later and the two old enemies taunted and shot at each other in the courtyard until they began fighting by hand. Their brawl wound up knocking down a support and part of the wall collapsed on them. Jerry escaped unscathed but Jason was covered in rubble. Jerry shot him in the shoulder just to watch him bleed to death. As Jason lay bleeding, he continued to ask for proof that Claudia was behind Michael’s shooting. Jerry refused to give him any and left him for dead. Jason began hallucinating and Sam came to pull him out. Meanwhile, Michael and Kristina arrived in Cancun and quickly found jobs. General Hospital Weekly Summary for June 29-July 3.

July 3rd, 2009 by Matthew Purvis

Mob maneuvers, civic scandals and the return of courtly love.

Spinelli had to ward off the advances of Maximista and control his overflowing libido. He was afraid that giving into carnal pleasures would lead to disaster as it has in the past. She quickly set to work breaking down his defenses. Jason interrupted and then they slipped of to Jake’s where they bumped into Robin and Patrick as they picked apart the case against the mayor. Detective work aside, Spinelli spent much of the week explaining to Maxie the meaning of courtly love. While she liked the poetry part, putting the kibosh on the sex part was rubbing her the wrong way. When Coleman asked them for advice about how to make Jake’s more inviting to the trendy set, Spinelli and Maxie battled over suggestions. Coleman ended up opting for karaoke, a choice which delighted Spinelli but terrified Maxie. She’s afraid that his lack of vocal prowess will lead to public humiliation and ruin their chances of being together. She’s right to be afraid too since he can’t carry anything remotely resembling a tune. Read the rest of this entry »
