GH’s Jonathan Jackson (Lucky Spencer) hosts this week’s look at the madness otherwise known as ABC Daytime. Surprise birthday guests, mistaken identity, miscalculated sex romps and heart attacks punctuate the worlds of Salem, Llanview and Pine Valley this week.

Now that the truth is out, Claudia has nothing to lose.

She’s run off with Carly into the middle of a storm with half of the town racing after them. As Carly goes into labor, Claudia breaks down and it looks like someone might not make it home alive.

Monday is here again and that means it’s time for another edition of Lori Wilson’s weekly GH Rundown over at our sister site, Soaps.com.

This week is all about Claudia being confronted and the return of Jonathan Jackson.

“That said, in my opinion, Jackson returning to the role he originated makes a huge difference. His scenes as Lucky with Luke and Elizabeth hold a different weight than they did with Greg Vaughan. I tried to imagine Vaughan in those scenes Jonathan had last week and I didn’t think they would have had the same depth. I know the writers didn’t utilize Greg as much as they should have, but I also think the actors have different strengths and these quiet emotional scenes are where Jonathan shines. On the other hand, I can’t really see Jonathan Jackson having the same appeal or chemistry Greg did in his scenes opposite Kelly Monaco (Sam) or even Kirsten Storms (Maxie). Some truths are unearthed and some hide again.

Elizabeth and Lucky went to the Haunted Star for a night of gambling. After she was haunted by visions of making out with Nikolas on the roulette table, she decided she’d better leave to avoid the dark prince when he made his way over with Ms. Shaw. The re-engaged couple went home, leaving Nikolas and Ethan to fight over Rebecca, quite literally. Luke had to stop them from pounding each other into the bar. Meanwhile, Elizabeth pulled away from Lucky and told him she didn’t know who she was anymore. She ran off to the pier to meet Nikolas. As they kissed, Luke stumbled by and spotted them. He drank through the night and then warned his son the next morning that he might not want to trust Elizabeth. Jonathan Jackson is back.

While the actor is still settling back into the role of Lucky Spencer, he took a few minutes to chat about his character and his return to Daytime.

Carelessness, conflicts and the inability to forgive.

Following the chaos of the party, Dominic, Lulu and Spinelli team up to find Carly. As Lulu and Dominic head out in search of the impatient pregnant woman, she winds up nearly losing her life. As Dominic saves her and stays by her side, the trauma reawakens memories about the night she discovered who he really is. Greg Vaughan (former Lucky Spencer) is already moving on after leaving GH.

“I’m officially making my return to the NEW 90210 tomorrow!! I’m 100% thankful for all your love & support! God Bless You All!!! HAHAHA,” the actor recently tweeted. He is returning to the role of fireman Cliff. The character rescued Donna from a wildfire before they began dating on the original “90210” way back in 1997. Read the rest of this entry »

Days’ Mark Hapka (Nathan Horton) will be adding to this year’s Halloween spirit.

The actor has a role in a new pilot called “BOO.” It’s set to premiere on Friday October 30. Details about the show are being kept quiet, but you can always go over to Hapka’s Twitter page and shout “Boo” at him to see if he’ll spill a little.
