Look who is arriving and leaving Port Charles during the month of April. We will update with more casting news as it’s released.

Soap Opera Digest has reported that Daytime vet Maura West (ex-Carly, “ATWT”; ex-Diane, “Y&R”)has been cast in the role of Ava Jerome. Look for her in May.

TV Guide has reported that Mario Batali, Carla Hall, Daphne Oz and Michael Symon of “The Chew” will be guest starring on “GH” on May 13 and 14. Look for them in scenes with AJ (Sean Kanan) and Tracy (Jane Elliot).

Tyler Christopher‘s return as Nikolas has been extended in light of the uncertain future of the actor’s other series, “The Lying Game.”

Bryan Craig has been cast on GH to play Morgan Corinthos.

Michael Easton, (ex-McBain) Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr) will return to Port Charles as their new characters on May 10.

Lindsey Morgan will be leaving the role of Kristina behind. Her final air date has not been released.

Emme Rylan has been cast as Lulu and will first appear on April 11.

The ladies of Daytime were ready to fight last week, as Hope decided she wasn’t going down without one last try on “B&B,” Chelsea snapped at Chloe on “Y&R,” and Kristen went dumpster diving to protect her secret on “DOOL.” As for Lulu on “GH,” she forgot to fight – and everything else.

B&B Breakdown:
Steffy may be pregnant, but that didn’t stop her from adding a personally outrageous twist to her wedding day. “It was such a relief that Steffy and Liam were allowed to be genuinely happy in the lead up to their wedding instead of marring it with a bunch of ‘dreaded triangle’ innuendo and doubt,” Candace said. “All the family interactions were really well done too – realistic dialogue as opposed to saying dippy things that make it sound like they’re living in a fairytale just because it’s a wedding. Liam’s words to Hope were believable too – people do think about paths not taken. Anyway, it was classic Steffy to roar up the driveway on a motorcycle dressed in a black lacy outfit – loved it!” And Katie got another chance on Bold and the Beautiful Weekly Blog.

Coming and going.

Carly went off to lecture her son about Brenda and threatened to tell Sonny about their indiscretion. Michael went over and told him himself. Sonny was surprisingly ready to forgive him… but not Brenda. As soon as Michael left, Kate/Connie showed up. He claimed he wanted to be with both of them. She said that being with him again could make her relapse and kissed him goodbye. Connie went over to work and announced that she was taking her life back. Olivia showed up to lecture her for how she’d treated Sonny. Meanwhile, Carly was shocked to learn that Sonny knew of Brenda bedding Michael. He was unwilling to do anything about it. It was all about getting into everyone else’s business on Daytime last week. Taylor was relentless in her pursuit of catching Bill and Brooke in a lie on “B&B,” Anne overheard some juicy bits about Cam and decided to see for herself on “DOOL,” Tyler laid a kiss on someone else’s wife on “Y&R.” As for “GH,” long-dead Stavros was back. That messed up all kinds of people.

B&B Breakdown:
While the wedding chat was a nice pick-me-up, the drama at the hospital was what compelled all week, especially considering Bill and Brooke seemed more concerned with their secret than Katie’s health. “I think what added insult to injury was the afterglow bit, since they appeared to have no guilt, or a thought at all for Katie,” Candace said. “Wild! At the hospital, they seemed almost as concerned about whether they were going to get blamed, as they were about Katie’s prognosis. I loved the vintage Brooke moment where she sat at Katie’s bedside and tearfully professed her love, saying, ‘I’d do anything for you.’ Hehe. Yep, anything but stay away from her husband when she asked you to!” And Caroline got an eyeful of big Hercules in the Bold and the Beautiful Weekly Blog.

On ice.

At the ball, Felicia publicly turned down Frisco’s proposal, insisting she loved Mac. He promptly proposed and she agreed. Frisco decided to leave. As dancing commenced on stage, Richard Simmons locked Lucy in her room. She battled her way out and they fought onto the stage as half the men in town danced off it in their underwear. After the shenanigans ended, Patrick went up to speak about Robin. Watching from afar, Dr. Obrecht ordered Britt to prepare for the next part of her plan. Britt went on stage and announced she was pregnant. Emma was outraged. Patrick refused to talk to Britt and promised Sabrina that he wouldn’t let the other woman get between them.
