A new week is here and that means it’s time for a new edition of Lori Wilson’s weekly GH Rundown over at our sister site, Soaps.com.

She weighs in on last week’s episodes including the welcoming of another spawn of Carly, the climactic whacking of Claudia and the soggy aftermath of bid bon voyage to Port Charles’ most dirty mouthed woman.

“Carly fortuitously found an empty, yet safe cabin to have her baby in. Of course Claudia followed her and the shot of her standing a the doorway, dripping wet from the rain, with the ominous lighting on her face and the slightly upwards angle was hilarious and scary at the same time. Claudia showed some compassion though and acted like a human being by helping Carly give birth, but then turned back into a psycho and tried to kidnap little Josslyn. This pretty much exemplified the problem I had with Claudia during her whole time on the show. She would make us feel compassion towards her, but then turned around and did an amazingly horrendous thing. Another killing could change things in Port Charles for everyone.

While in custody, Jason begged Lucky to let him out so he could save Carly from Claudia’s clutches. Lucky wasn’t helpful. Johnny and Sam arrived and offered to help, but Jason wouldn’t take his help. Once released, Jason ran off searching for Claudia. He ended up bursting into a house and nearly shot a woman and her kids. Feature film star James Franco (“Milk,” “Spiderman”) will be joining the cast of General Hospital.

As part of research for an upcoming film, the actor will be shooting a few days a week. So far, there are no specific details available about the role he will be playing but you can expect to see him on November 20. Speculation is that his arrival could also bring the return of alum Vanessa Marcil (Brenda Barrett). Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) tweeted this response to a fan question about the two actors joining the show, “Franco is…don’t know about Vanessa.” Read the rest of this entry »

Guilt, blame and breaking up.

Jason grows ever more concerned over Michael’s behavior and beats himself up when he feels like he’s failed him. Michael’s already channeling his mob power into fighting his sister’s battles. Kristina covers for an abusive Kiefer, but that might not be enough to stop her brother from seeking revenge on him. Meanwhile, Jax and Carly have a brutal battle over their trust issues and she tells him to get lost. Alexis urges Carly to forgive her husband while he turns to Jason for help saving his marriage.
