Our sister site Soaps.com caught up with “The Young And The Restless’” Max Ehrich, who plays Fen Baldwin. When asked how he sees his alter ego, Ehrich stated, “When Fen first came back, I think he was at a very vulnerable age and was trying to find his place in the world; just really figure out who he is. He has such a strict dad, who just became D.A., so of course his morals are so strong and everything is black and white, right or wrong. He’s a really good kid who is just curious, and then Summer comes along. I think Fen’s first love is Summer; he falls in love; he’s infatuated with her. She plays games with him, and where it’s going is – will Fen get into her ways, or will he stand his ground?”
Our sister site Soaps.com chatted with “The Young And The Restless’” Michael Damian (Danny Romalotti) earlier this week about his new Christmas DVD release, a possible return and his character’s abrupt exit from Genoa City after Danny left Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford) trial with Nina (Tricia Cast), which was his final air date.
“Yes. It’s a bit awkward, I must say, but that’s the transition from the past writer, Maria Bell, to Josh Griffith. When you transition to a new writing team there are going to be some threads that need to be re-sewn. It is a bit odd of a transition, and I’ve had a lot of people asking questions. I’ve tried to be understanding as a writer and producer myself; I understand that these transitional things have to happen, but the fans don’t care about that – they want to know what is going on.”

“That hamburger has been in there for years and it stinks! And every time we get up it stinks and we get the Fabreze and we take an extra shower and spray ourselves with perfume and we keep trying to cover up the hamburger in the closet when if we would just open the door and see this ugly, stinking mess that is in there and take it and bring it out and put it aside.” Read the rest of this entry »
“I guess we will just have to cross that bridge when we come to it.”
Our sister site, Soaps.com, spoke with recently returned “DOOL” star Blake Berris (Nick) about his thoughts on coming back to the series, where his character is heading and what else he has on the go.

“I’m very private about a lot of things, but when it comes to my life and what is happening in my life, I’ve been very honest and open, and I’m afraid that’s the other core part of me that functions as one person and portrays a second person; so in many ways I guess I am Katherine Chancellor and Jeanne Cooper.”

Soap Opera Fan Blog: How did you hear the news?
Kevin: I spoke to my manager this morning about my acting plans for the fall and he informed me the new EP decided to recast my character just before the weekend. I was in San Francisco enjoying Outsidelands [music festival] over the weekend so he waited until I was back to tell me. Thankfully, Stevie Wonder has pumped me with a healthy dose of optimism!
