Not getting past the past.

While Rafe is eager to make up for his mistake and move on with Sami, she’s having a much harder time getting past the past, especially the parts of it that he’s still clueless about. Parade of paws.

Kate Mansi (Abby) and Freddie Smith (Sonny) will be appearing at the WeHo Red Carpet Pooch Parade. The event will be celebrating the opening of the AT&T West Hollywood Store and in support of PAWS/LA and the Gay Men’s Choir of Los Angeles. Featuring a dog costume contest, prizes and giveaways, it takes place on Saturday February 11 from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM. Mansi and Smith will be acting as judges for the event. A preview from a Daytime vet.

Soaps.com had a chat with “DOOL”‘s newest cast member Ian Buchanan (Ian). He talks about his relationships with Madison (Sarah Brown), Kate (Lauren Koslow) and the kind of havoc he might reek.

Here’s a sample of what he had to say about his character:

“He’s a villain. He is kind of wicked. I like him. I like the way they write him I get a kick out of him. He entertains himself, the character. He has a whole quirky, offbeat response to things.”

Ending things.

Rafe feels the wrath of the Bradys as the family gangs up to make him feel unwelcome thanks to his little transgression. Kayla is the only one to offer him any sympathy after Sami rejects him yet again. While Rafe is feeling like an outcast, the town is busy deciding on their new leader. Election day finally arrives. Abe has trouble reconciling himself to the dirty tricks he’s had to play but EJ’s team has one last dirty trick to put in motion. Nicole sends young William off on a nasty errand. Weekly blog roundup.

Another week, another round of drama. And boy was it good. On “Days,” Abe dips his toes into muddy waters while Sami sees Rafe and Carrie in a mega liplock and on “GH” we are still awaiting the results from Sam and Jason’s paternity test. Liam made a decision on “B&B,” Cane and Lily decided to get married on “Y&R.” It’s time to read what the bloggers thought of all the happenings this week.

B&B Breakdown:

Rick and Ridge continue to sniff and snarl at each other, which is sure to build up to something big. And Pam is finally revealed as the culprit behind the missing designs, but to little reaction. Hmph. And no matter where you stand on the Steffy/Hope front, at least Liam made a decision. It seems like forever that we have been waiting, maybe just long enough that we wanted them both to turn him down. Candi says, “Meanwhile, Liam takes phone calls, stands looking out the window, and lets Steffy putter around in the kitchen while Hope waits outside for him to render his decision. Really? Seeing these two girls reduced to puddles of goo while awaiting to learn their fate was a tad of a turn-off. They both should have told him to kick rocks.” Agreed.
