Lauren swore Carmine to secrecy, Summer got an internship, and Adriana covered for Katherine…

Lauren regretted sleeping with Carmine, who promised to keep their night together a secret. Fen told Lauren he and Michael made up and urged her to do the same. Michael refused to apologize for trying to protect Fen. Lauren stormed off and back into Carmine’s arms. Later, Michael banged on Lauren’s door, as she and Carmine were in bed. After Lauren got Michael to leave she warned Carmine she couldn’t ‘do this anymore’. Kevin helped Michael trick Lauren into returning home. Lauren wanted more time alone, but Michael begged her to help him fix their marriage. Lauren allowed Michael to carry her to the bedroom then later ended things with Carmine.

Victor and Nikki invited the family to the rebuilt ranch. Nick scolded Summer for bringing Kyle, who she’d taken a liking to. He also warned Kyle that Summer was his little girl – even though she was eighteen. Kyle assured Summer they were only friends. Adriana appeared next and claimed Noah invited her, which he didn’t.

Avery and Dylan shared a kiss. Avery told Dylan she’d moved on and went to see Nick. They professed their love. Meanwhile, Chelsea went to tell Adam she was pregnant but walked away after seeing Sharon at his house. Sharon left and swerved to miss Dylan’s car, which had gone off the road. She got help and called Avery, who showed up at the hospital with Nick. Dylan experienced war flashbacks and left the hospital. He found Sharon and offered to repair her roof. Avery told Nick Dylan was staying in town and that Sharon hired him.

Summer asked Jamie to drop the charges against Fen. Jamie refused and warned Summer would pay too. After a fight with Lauren, Michael tried talking to Fen, who refused to forgive him for believing Jamie. Michael admitted he worried Fen would turn into the man he used to be and later heard Fen tell Kevin that he hated his father. Lauren confided in Carmine, who shared a tale of tough love gone wrong. Later, Kevin caught Carmine bringing Lauren home. Paul found Jamie contemplating jumping off the roof. After Paul talked Jamie down, Jamie admitted Fen didn’t push him. Lauren warned Michael he let them down and didn’t know if she could forgive him – then was later stunned when Carmine kissed her. Paul told Phyllis about Summer’s part in the bullying. Summer broke down in front of Phyllis. They shared a close moment, as Summer admitted what she’d done to Jamie.

Wheeler acted concerned about the innocent man imprisoned for killing a woman on his campaign team and asked Avery to keep him updated on her case. Tyler and Leslie worried about ‘him’ getting out of prison. Leslie ran into Wheeler, who called her Valerie.

Nikki convinced Victor to postpone their wedding and later appeared to have trouble moving her hands. Victor took a call and told Nikki’s doctor he’d relay a message. Across town, Katherine experienced memory lapses and obtained memory enhancing pills.

Leslie spotted Marcus Wheeler and feared he’d recognize her and Tyler. When Tyler approached him, Wheeler found him to be familiar. Tyler admitted they met before then suggested to Leslie that they tell Wheeler who they were, knowing Wheeler could make sure ‘the bastard never got out’. While Leslie admitted to Neil that her father was abusive, Tyler opened up to Lily about his rough childhood.

Alex threatened Adriana with jail time if she didn’t return the money. He then informed Noah the money belonged to Adriana’s drug dealing boyfriend. Noah agreed with Alex to make Adriana believe he cared about her. Nick worried for Noah’s safety and warned Alex away from Noah.

Leslie told Neil her mom passed away then admitted to Tyler that she wanted to be with Neil. Tyler assured Leslie that she was safe from her past. Later, Tyler slipped to Lily, claiming his hometown was Milwaukee. She reminded Tyler he said he was from Detroit. Meanwhile, Devon agreed to give Tucker’s job offer and apology some thought.

Dylan McAvoy, the man Avery had an affair with and said had died, bought a ticket to Genoa City. Meanwhile, Avery changed the locks on her storage unit, due to Summer’s snooping. When the unit was broken into, Nick wondered if someone other than Summer had done it.

Adriana appeared and admitted the money was left in her apartment by another tenant – a drug dealer. She heard it was missing. Noah confided to his parents that Adriana was in town and he was in over his head. Later, Alex spotted Adriana and asked about the money, which she said she didn’t have. Alex warned he’d be watching her. Adriana said Alex was a dirty cop and asked Noah for protection and forgiveness. She claimed her father left, her brother pimped her out and she needed the money to start over. Noah agreed to help Adriana, who received a text asking about the money. Across town, Kevin made plans to launder the money and played dumb when Alex appeared, having received a tip. Chloe confided everything to Chelsea, who offered to help Chloe keep the money.
