Former “Passions’” star (ex-Fox, “Mistresses,” “Revenge”) Justin Hartley has been cast as Adam Newman. The actor started taping scenes in September and will first appear on November 5.

“B&B’s” Jennifer Gareis (Donna) will return to “Y&R” as Grace Turner on Thursday November 13.

“Back to School” and “MASH” alum Sally Kellerman will play Constance Bingham on Y&R. She began taping the multi-episode arc on October 8 and will make her first appearance on November 13.

Sophie Pollono will appear as Delia Abbott’s ghost on October 14.

Elizabeth Hendrickson will reappear as Chloe on Tuesday October 14 for the anniversary of Delia’s death.

The show is casting for the non-contract, but major role of a lab tech named Tobias. Though he’s quirky, Tobias will possess a cold, calculating energy. Actors should be in their mid 20s to early 30s and be able to begin taping on October 24.

Beth Maitland returns as Traci on July 17.

The show is casting for the recurring role of ‘tentatively-titled’ Maureen. Described as a 50′s Caucasian, she’s physically attractive and maintains a strong sense of self-preservation, given the hand she’s been dealt. The arc will run six to eight weeks and begin around July 31.

McKenna Grace will last air as Faith Newman on May 29, due to a new movie she’s filming.

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that the show has released a casting call for the role of Phyllis. The description goes as follows, “Phyllis is beautiful, smart and conniving. She is confident in her own sexuality and is unafraid to use it to get what she wants. She knows she has power over men and many times has used it, both to her benefit and to her detriment. She definitely has an edge.” Michelle Stafford, who previously played Phyllis, now plays Nina on “General Hospital.” Stay tuned for details as they come.

Camryn Grimes, who plays Mariah (ex-Cassie), announced on Twitter that she’s been put on contract with the show.
