On Saturday March 23 “The Young And The Restless’” Judith Chapman (Gloria Bardwell) will be in attendance at the Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival. At 8:00 PM Chapman will take part in the Tennessee Williams In Others’ Words discussion. Then on Sunday March 24 at 1:00 PM the actress will talk to the audience about her one-woman show “Vivian.”

Kyle Abbott recast.

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that “The Young And The Restless” has recast yet another character – Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) son. Blake Hood, who took over the role of Kyle Abbott in April 2012, has been replaced by Daytime newcomer Hartley Sawyer (“Glory Daze,” “Jane By Design,” “GCB,” “NCIS: Los Angeles”).

Charity event.

On Saturday April 13 “The Young And The Restless’” Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin) will again be hosting this year’s annual Dancing With The Stars On The Bayou charity event. As an added treat his co-stars Jessica Collins (Avery) and Jeff Branson (ex-Ronan) will join him as judges to benefit the Louisiana Center for Women and Government.
