* Nadia Bjorlin will be returning to “Days” as Chloe Lane for several episodes sometime late in the summer/fall.

* Rory will be played by Kevin Riggin May 23. Rory’s a troubled friend of JJ’s.

“DOOL” is currently casting for a 23-26 year old Caucasian named Derek.

Anthony Tyler Quinn is playing the crooked cop, Det. Bernardi.

Kevin Peake is the bouncer at the strip club in Chicago. He was also a young Sam Bennett in a 2004 “Passions” flashback.

Derek Magyar will be seen as Jensen in an upcoming fight scene. Check out Soaps.com’s May Comings and Goings page for a photo.

There is a casting call out for upscale men and women aged 50-70 for a shoot on these airdates: May 6, 8, 9, and 10. Actors must not have already acted on the show this year.

Casey Moss has been cast as J.J. Deveraux. Look for him to appear on May 3 or 6. The date may change due to the preempt earlier this month.

It is rumored that Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Horton) has been taken off contract and placed on recurring status.

Former “All My Children” actress Chrishell Stause has joined the cast in a new role. Look for her character to start airing in August.

Ex-”General Hospital” actress Jen Lilley has been cast on DOOL.

The week started with a bang, or at least a thud, as Rafe’s tender cranium was dealt a brutal blow. He was then kicked until he was squirting ketchup. Hope was called to the scene to investigate. Roman apparently had a heads up and left town to avoid doing actual police work. Abe was called away from being endlessly reminded that his wife was dead so that he could have a different body to contemplate. He didn’t bother sticking around. Hernandez was wheeled over to Salem’s most expensive butcher shop. The accusations about who would have made marmalade of his mind were soon flowing fast. It was enough to put a pregnant woman off her anchovy and green tea muffins. In fact, that’s exactly what happened as Gabbah heard the news of the Rafe rollicking and rushed to her brother’s bedside. He had always been so good to her, she sobbed. What would have happened to her if he hadn’t forced her to do her calculus homework instead of watching “Passions?” She never could have married an ex-con and ladled clam goo in a back alley pub.

Everyone was sad about Rafe… Well, not EJ. He looked so thrilled it was like he was getting back all of the Christmases he’d missed when they SORASed him. His smirking was sticking in some craws. Hope was quick to blame him and everyone lined up to ask if he did it. This seemed to turn Elvis on. He and Brady stared at each other like they wanted to knock mops. Even he and Nick were generating as much chemistry as a baking soda volcano. Although Elvis was smug, the spilling of Rafe’s brains was acting like some kind of toxic infestation that was poisoning everything. Brady had a tantrum. Kristen had a tantrum and flashbacks swirled around her head like twittering birds. They were unsure if they could go on. Meanwhile, Marlena was actually sure she couldn’t go on and asked John for a divorce. He told her to go ahead and make his day and then he ate a croissant. Once again, she asked him to ask her for a divorce. He asked her for a divorce. She was shocked. Usually when she asks him to give her something he just rolls over. This time she asked him to roll over and he gave her what she asked for. Doc slapped him so hard that his steely eyes started to vibrate.

The Rafe investigation continued. Hope questioned Kate. Lady Roberts spent most of her interview complaining about how everyone thought Rafe was scraping the bottom of the chum bucket with her. After Kate cried about them being happy as clams once upon a time, a disgusted Sami was brought in. She found the fact of Rafe and Kate’s coital coupling so hideous that she wore the ugliest clothes she could find to express the profundity of her disgust. Hope couldn’t bear to look. Since speaking to Sami is inevitably a dead end, she started rubbing her head in a vain attempt to see if any of Babs’ clairvoyance had somehow rubbed off on her. It hadn’t. She didn’t even have eyes in the back of her head. If she had, she would have noticed the prison release letter that’s been sitting a foot away from her for the whole investigation. The prisoner to be released was Jensen. Judging by the fact that he could ‘recognize’ Nick from behind, we can assume that they had an unfortunate run-in while they were in prison. The Rafe beating, muffin stealing man abruptly swanned in to abduct Nick and Gabi.

On a lighter note, the bacterial barrier between Salemites continued to shrink this week. Double J tried to settle into Horton house but it was remarkably uncomfortable. Not only was there a giant train set stretched across his room, but it had clearly been used in some of Dannifer’s sexcapades. As revenge, he borrowed Scooby’s MP3 player and then let a truck run over it. Maybe he should have been turning to Uncle Lucas for advice about how to deal with your mother sleeping with inappropriate men. Lucas was informed by Sami that her ex-husband had been sleeping with her ex-mother-in-law. Meanwhile, Chadsworth continued looking to get some wherever he could find it. He asked the virgin Abs if they had another shot. She ran off to meet her ex-stripper boyfriend. Little Lord DiMera will have to go on with nothing but his old Misty Circle collection to keep him cozy at night. Maybe he should join the Salem club for cracked heads? They always seem to be getting some.

Ciara is in the square with the envelope of doom. Nicole pops up and asks what she’s doing. “It’s private. You know what means?” Ciara shoots back. Caroline shows up and sits with Nic while Ciara and Johnny play My Little Pony. Nic and Ma Brady discuss Eric, Rafe and Sami’s idiocy. Meanwhile, Johnny asks Ciara to show him what’s in her envelope. She tells him what’s in her envelope isn’t for boys. He tries to take it from her Caroline comes over and stops them. Johnny grabs the envelope when Ciara isn’t looking.

Brady finds a miffed Marlena outside the pub. She asks him to make the last three months disappear. She’s about to storm off when Eric pops up. He tries comforting her. The three of them go into the pub. She tells him that she is not giving up on John. The shrink starts lecturing Brady. He says his father is jealous of him and tells her to give up on John just like he has. She walks off. The priest tells Brady that he’s full of it. “I think you’re an idiot,” Eric adds. Brady asks him to the wedding anyway. The priest can’t do that to his mom and leaves. Nicole comes in and tries cheering Brady up with a gift. He runs off. She heads to the rectory to ask Eric if he’s going to the wedding. He’s not.

Outside of the square, John asks Kristen if she is still going to marry Brady. She tells him to go away. He tells her that’s not what she wants. They go around in circles. Some random kids kick a soccer ball at them. While John is distracted, she pulls out a piece of paper and drops it. John tells her that Brady doesn’t need to know about them. He molests her elbow so she slaps him and storms away. He’s smug and notices the piece of paper. It’s a bill for the Salem Inn. He cocks his head. Meanwhile, Brady heads to Casa DiMera, Kristen promises him that tomorrow is going to be the greatest day. They chat about his dad. She’s sure that John will end up back with Marlena once the wedding is over. He gets a call and has to leave to take care of something.

At the station, Sami paces as Gabi tells Hope about the call EJ got after Rafe was attacked. Sami moans and rolls her eyes as she defends Elvis. “How stupid can you really be?” Gabi asks her. She reminds her of all of the things EJ has done to her family… and Sami’s. Gabi starts blaming herself and her muffin cravings for this. Hope realizes there were no muffins at the crime scene. The pregnant lady stomps off. Sami huffs. Hope and Sami argue about Elvis. Sami tries reassuring herself that she can trust EJ. She heads to Caffeinated and flashes through her past problems with Elvis. Meanwhile, Hope picks up Ciara and they go back to the office. Hope gets a call about the prisoner who was released.

At Caffeinated, Sonny and Will get confirmation that Nick’s alibi checks out but Sonny doubts it anyway. Meanwhile, EJ drops by the hospital and asks about Rafe. The nurse won’t say anything. He threatens her job and she runs away. He turns around and spots a dude with flowers. EJ follows him. Meanwhile, Nick meets up with Vargas in an alley. He hands him his cash. Vargas is pleased and offers him a reward. Nick says they are done but Vargas says this is just the beginning and stomps off. Nick heads over to the hospital and runs into EJ. They bicker. Gabi pops up. EJ instantly strolls away. Gabi tells Nick about the muffin issue and that her brother was planning to talk to her about him. Will and Sonny arrive. Nick insists on taking his wife away to talk. After they leave, the dude reappears and shoves his flowers in the trash. Out in the square, Nick assures his wife that the muffin matter is just a coincidence. Suddenly, the dude pops. “Nick Fallon! I even recognize you from behind,” says the dude named Jensen. He has a gun in his pocket and asks Nick to go somewhere private. Jensen insists that Gabi come along. Back at Caffeinated, Sami asks EJ if he had something to do with Rafe’s attack.

Soap Opera Fan Blog has the latest scoops for who will be coming and going in and out of Genoa City in May. Stay tuned, as this page will be updated when more details are released.

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Mishael Morgan (“Supernatural”) has been cast to play Hilary Curtis beginning on June 14. Look for her to appear in scenes with Daniel Goddard (Cane) and Christel Khalil (Lily).

The character of Rose is being cast and is described as a pretty, pleasant, fun Caucasian in her early 40s, who’s a bit of a barfly.

“Y&R” is casting the role of Stitch, a boisterous, enthusiastic, thrill seeker 30-something friend of Dylan’s from his Army days, who used to be a medic for the platoon. He should be appearing in four episodes.

Jeanne Cooper passed away on Wednesday May 8. She played Katherine Chancellor from 1973 to 2013. Her last Genoa City scene was on May 3, 2013

The show is casting for the role of Raven, who’s described as an offbeat, quirky, Wallflower type female.

Michael Muhney signed a new contract to remain as Adam Newman until at least June 2015.

Beth Maitland posted on her Facebook page that she will be bringing her character, Traci Abbott Connolly, back to Genoa City this month.

Jerry Douglas returns as John Abbott’s ghost on May 15 and 17.

“The Bold And The Beautiful’s” Zack Conroy will bring his character Oliver Jones to Genoa City beginning on May 21. The actor taped scenes photographing some of Jabot’s newest fashions and could appear at least once a month.

Former “General Hospital” actress Erin Chambers (ex-Siobhan) has landed a recurring role as Melanie Daniels and will first appear on June 5.

“Y&R” is casting for the role of Connor Boyd, who is described as vibrant and sexy and in his mid 20s. Though the character comes from an affluent background, he craves to be carefree, even though his family expects him to take the business world by storm.

The show has put out a casting call for a late 30s/early 40s non-ethnic woman fortune teller/psychic who comes across as normal and unique.

Michael questions Lauren about her affair and learns she’s been with Carmine multiple times. Lauren wants to move forward, but Michael doesn’t know if he can forgive her. After Carmine gives Fen advice, Lauren warns him not to contact her again. Later, Michael and Carmine face off.

After Avery and Nick make love, Summer arrives and wants to talk to Avery about boys. Nick overhears Summer talking about Kyle and how she wants him to be her first. Nick confronts Kyle and reminds him he was warned to stay away from his daughter. Later, Nick stares at an envelope addressed to him then is questioned by Avery about his issues with Summer.

Chloe accuses Kevin of stealing again and plans to find out what he’s been up to. When she spots stolen jewelry in the safe at Crimson Lights Alex sees it too and arrests her. Later, Chloe screams at Kevin for not telling the cops where the jewelry came from. Because of him she spends the night in jail.

Adam confronts Vikki about having him investigated. Vikki admits she has good reason to, considering there’s a paper trail leading back to Adam.

Wait, there’s more… While Dylan and Chelsea prepare for a future together, Adam reconsiders his relationship with Sharon. Billy can’t fight temptation any longer. Jack works to make Traci see Phyllis in a new light, and a shocking secret is revealed.

Brooke and her daughter have a pity party about how much their lives suck. Eventually, Brooke putters over to Eric to share her woe with him and then holds him to his promise to help her out. He’s shocked when she tells him what she needs help with. Meanwhile, Hope manages to find the time to explain to Thomas why she decided to bury the hatchet with Steffy.

Although Steffy may have been taken off Hope’s hit list, the raven haired fashion princess still has grave things to worry about. Liam morosely paces at home for her to return to the baby barbecue when she’s in an accident. She’s rushed in for medical attention and their families instantly crowd around. Taylor does everything she can to give her daughter support as she faces the worst.

In a bid to put a halt to Maya chasing after Rick, Bill manages to dig up the father of her child, Jesse, and bring him to town. If bringing back that side of her past wasn’t enough to spook her, Bill also decides to put plans in motion that could land her back in jail. Rick doesn’t want that to happen. He keeps trying to dump Caroline just so that he can be with the other woman but the Spencer makes breaking up hard to do. When Jesse makes a stunning proposition to his ex, Rick and Caroline are stuck watching.

At Casa DiMera, Kristen tells Brady that she’s not turning her back on her family and, if he can’t handle it, they should call the wedding off. This doesn’t make sense to him. She explains that he’s too good and she’ll hurt him. Kristen begs him to take the exit she’s giving him. He’s still confused. Maggie barges in with a wedding gift. Kristen leaves them alone. Maggie starts prying. Brady tells her that his father is the problem. He storms out.

JJ interrupts Jenn and Daniel making out at the Horton house. “You sure are around here a lot,” JJ observes. They have a passive-aggressive conversation and JJ asks if he can play with Parker’s train. He heads upstairs. Jenn hands Daniel her copy of “Revolting Rhymes.” He blabs about his MP3 player. JJ returns and listens as this conversation drags on. Eventually, he asks if he can borrow his mom’s MP3 player but Daniel lends him his instead. JJ jogs away. After the doctor goes, Maggie drops in and Jenn talks about how great Daniel is. JJ later drops by the hospital to see Daniel and explains that his MP3 player was hit by a truck. He hands him the pieces. “Bummer,” he adds.

Lucas drops by the hospital to see Sami and Rafe. “I can’t lose him.” she moans to Lucas. She tells him that his mom was sleeping with Rafe. “She always has a talent for humiliating herself,” he says. They argue about whether or not EJ was involved in the attack. Gabi shows up to hear this. Sami tells her not to listen to Lucas. He and Sami bicker about that until she flounces off. Over at the station, Hope is in her office worrying about Rafe. Kate shows up. The detective wonders why Kate didn’t tell her that she was sleeping with Hernandez. Kate insists Stefano didn’t know until after the attack. Hope questions her about the relationship. Kate says they didn’t talk much and doesn’t appreciate all of the condescending remarks. She walks out. Kate meets her son at Caffeinated for more condescending remarks about the Rafe affair. They’re both sure that Sami will always suspect EJ. Meanwhile, Sami heads to the station to answer some questions from Hope. The detective soon says this repetitive conversation is unconvincing. Gabi suddenly shows up and says she remembered something. She tells them about the call EJ got at the pub after the attack. Across town, some dude reads about Rafe’s attack in the paper then crumples it up and dumps it in the trash. He heads to the hospital with some flowers and hangs around outside of Rafe’s door.

Outside of the pub, Marlena is shocked that John wants a divorce. He thinks she deserves better. The shrink slaps him for that. “You disgust me!” she says. He used to be action man, now he’s nothing man. She storms away. He chases her down. They rehash everything that’s happened since Kristen came back. Kristen suddenly pops up. “I guess I’ll go,” Marlena says. She leaves. John tells Kristen about the divorce and wipes away a solitary tear. Kristen hopes he meets someone new and walks off. Brady shows up. The two Blacks bicker. “I’m done with this conversation,” John declares. He leaves. Kristen comes back. Brady says he’s not marrying her family, he’s marrying her. He thinks she should become Kristen Black and make him the happiest guy on the earth. She has to think it over. Brady wanders off and runs into Marlena. She’s sobbing. Back outside of the square, John corners Kristen and asks if she is still going to marry his son.

Grab a peek at who is leaving, who is staying and who is headed into the chaos around the Forrester family.

Hunter Tylo (Taylor) has revealed on her official Facebook page that she is now off contract and will be leaving “B&B” to pursue other work. Her final date will be July 3.

TV Guide has reported that “DOOL” alum Darin Brooks (ex-Max) will be headed to “B&B” as Wyatt Fuller. The character will appear starting on June 21.

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood will be taking a short break from playing Steffy Forrester. There were rumors that she would be leaving, but a spokesperson from the series has indicated that she is only take a break and will return later. Look for her to drop out of action some time after July.

“B&B” is currently casting for an established actress to play the recurring role of Julie Spencer. The character will be in her mid-to-late 40s.

Scott Clifton and Don Diamont have signed new contracts to stay on as Liam and Bill Spencer.

Ashley Jones will be back as Bridget Forrester for three or four episodes. Look for her beginning on May 22.
Ricky Paull Goldin has been cast as the father of Maya’s baby. Look for him on May 14.

Crystal Chappell will be back as Danielle on May 3.
